I’m pescatarian and we are about to go on our 4th Disney Cruise this year and I’m starting to enjoy the appetizers more then the entrees in the MDRs - So I’m curious what everyone’s favorite vegetarian or seafood entrees are?

I’m curious about the roasted salmon steak, and the wild mushroom and sweet onion strudel that are on the animation magic menu. I believe I had the shrimp pasta the last time we had that menu.

From our 7nt Fantasy in June. DH had the seafood dishes, said the tuna was overcooked, the salmon was all good though.

I’m pescatarian as well as had some tasty meals in the MDR. We sailed on the Wonder in April and I remember really loving the Salmon dish I had at Tritons which is the same as the Oven Baked Salmon Royale in Royal Court (Royal Court menu) posted above.
When we boarded the ship we ate lunch at the MDR and I had the Caesar salad but had them substitute salmon for the chicken. That salmon was cooked perfectly!
I think at Animator’s I just ordered a few apps instead of an entree because there were so many tasty app options.
Although I’m sure you’re aware, I had some really tasty veggie options by the pool! They served sausage, that I believe tasted like beyond meat, with fun toppings that changed daily!

The salmon for me has been hit or miss. My absolute favorite is the sea bass in enchanted garden - not sure if they had that menu in any of the dining rooms on the wonder - I don’t believe they do, but could be wrong. They also had a seabass on the wish that was amazing. Animator’s is my least favorite menu of all, I got the tuna steak last year, and wasn’t a fan, and this past time we skipped that night. Even the animation magic menu Isn’t that good.

I’ll have to try the Sesame Halloumi Parce next week, I’ve heard mixed reviews but it looks good. My favorite menu item is the sea bass in enchanted garden, and now the Wish has sea bass in Arendelles it is so buttery and falls apart. I might need to order two next time. Also another favorite of mine is the ahi tuna appetizer in Enchanted garden.

I also like the sea bass in EG on the Fantasy. The lobster ravioli app was really good the first time I had it(several years ago) but on our last 2 cruises it wasn't very good.

I haven’t tried the lobster ravioli, I haven’t heard good things about it.

I still think about the sea bass from Rapunzel's. So after reading everyone else's reviews, I would bet sea bass would be a good choice no matter which ship you are on.

We were on the magic last year, and I don’t recall seeing the seabass on the menu it probably was and now I’m disappointed I didn’t order it. I hope to be back on the magic one day. I believe I got the tangled pasta that night, which was also good.

My favorite vegetarian dishes have been off menu Indian dishes that my servers brought on my last cruise

I second this. Have done this on a few cruises (sometimes in addition to one of the menu mains, also on a back to back to avoid the same menus a second time), the crew food’s definitely worth trying!

Oh this sounds like I good idea! I love Indian food.

Thanks for the report on the tangled pasta--I almost chose that, but was put off by the lobster pasta at lumiere's--I was not a fan.
I haven’t been brave enough to try that pasta, I haven’t heard good things. But I recall the tangled pasta being a good choice.

+1 to the crew Indian food!

I agree that often the appetizers end up being the most appealing (mmm truffle pasta pursettes and fried brie). My favorite entree I think is the grilled tofu with Israeli couscous - at least, it was the one that surprised me most. I didn't order it because I figured it would be meh, but my server brought one to try anyway and I've gotten it every time since!

Crew Indian food is top notch.

I know the pirate menu gets bashed regularly, but I think the treasures of the sea pasta is tasty. It’s actually one of my favorite dishes in the MDR.

Another vote for the salmon royale in whatever restaurant is in the middle (different name on each of the original 4 ships) and sea bass in EG.

Another vote for the sea bass (SO GOOD) and the pirate night seafood pasta. I've also enjoyed the turbot (white fish) and red snapper.

Agreed on the Sea Bass in EG (and it's renamed variations on other ships) can be one of the best. Sometimes it isn't the best cut and can be not cooked as well, even at the same table on the same sailing. So sometimes it's better than others.

I also find that any stuffed pasta on DCL to be pretty tasty... the 2 cheese stuffed pastas (including AP pasta pursettes), the mushroom stuffed and I think there's 2 other veg/fish stuffed pasta dishes out there... are all good.

There's a rare/raw tuna or salmon app on the sit down lunch on embark day that's similar to the rare tuna app at EG dinner that's amazing.

The other thing that I love is the spicy black bean cakes that are offered on the Veg menu one night. My server always questions my order, but I find them delicious.
