Everyday bag, or park bag? I don't carry a purse, just a crossbody wristlet if/when I carry it. Usually I put my license, credit card, and $20 in a little cloth zip wallet (from the China pavilion in Epcot) and stick it in my jeans pocket. Park bag? Different story, when the kids were little I had everything but the kitchen sink in there!

If everything goes according to plan*, DW and I will walk the Camino de Santiago (French route) in fall 2024. What you carry in your pack and the weight of it is a big subject among those who walk it. We're already discussing it, and whether we want to use a service to forward our bags and just walk with a day pack.

I can't comment on the luggage service, but I understand that walk is beautiful. Have a great time!

On a quick trip, I carry my wallet, slip lead, Kleenex, and keys. Otherwise, all of these plus band-aids, tweezers, nail file, comb, pencil (never pens), lip balm, hair band, and hand cream.
