" Murder Packs A Suitcase" by Cynthia Baxter. A real cute cozy mystery while at WDW. A story about travel agents in Orlando seeing the sights.

Elizabeth Lowell's Eden Burning. It's HOT:laughing:and I have 2 Linda Lael Miller novels safely tucked away in the suitcase for flight and poolside reading in June at WDW;)

Elizabeth Lowell is one of my favorites. I vaguely remember that one, I think it was one of her lesser known works. Twothumbs up for her lastest, B,lue Smoke and Murder, I actually read it so long ago that I feel like it's time for her next!

Just finished The Nine - on the supreme court. Timely book with Souter retiring. I am almost done with The hour I first believed by Wally Lamb. Loved the first half - slogging through the second half.

Next up is Loving Frank - about Frank Lloyd Wright.

I felt the same way about the Wally Lamb book. I loved his other 2 books, but this one dragged for me. I was kind of disappointed with it, unfortunately.

I really enjoyed The Pact. One of my favorites from her.

I really loved The Pact too. Once I finish 19th Wife, I will either read her new one or Perfect Match.

It should have been two books - not one. When they introduce the historical letters - I lost interest. I wanted to know more about the main characters - espcially Mo - his wife.

OMG - that is exactly how I felt about the book. I didn't even think he tied the ancestors in that well to the present day story.

Also, being a fiction book, I wasn't crazy about the use of the Columbine shootings. Not that I didn't like the idea for a novel, but I really thought he should have used fiction characters.

The book just didn't flow for me - too choppy, if that makes sense. It wasn't an easy read. At some points it would recatch my interest, but then I'd drift away again myself while reading.

You're right - it should have been 2 books.

I am finishing up The Book Thief. It is so wonderful that I am taking my time savoring it instead of rushing through it....which is unusual for me. Love it.

That was a great book!!!

I just finished "The House at Riverton" by Kate Morton which I highly recommend.

Stuck with "The Pact" & I'm glad I did! Almost 1/2 way through......
*LoraJ I love your photo from Spaceship Earth!!

I just finished "On Gold Mountain" by Lisa See. What an amazing book! I don't usually like non-fiction, but this was so gripping I couldn't put it down. I began it on May 2nd, and just finished it 10 minutes ago!

Now, I'll be starting "The Lake House" by James Patterson. I'm excited to read this, as I've heard good things.

the Lake House was a very quick read. It was a fun thriller. Does anyone know if there are any sequels to this book? They would make great reading in the summer when my family goes camping for a week.

Next up: Eat, Pray, Love. I know that a lot of you had a hard time with this, but it's been on my "to read" list for a couple of years, now, and I hate to cross anything off without giving it a fair shot.

After that it will be "Ragtime" by E.L. Doctorow. I'm excited to read this, as I absolutely love the musical!
