Under The Dome by Stephen King

and

Deadly Sanctuary by Sylvia Nobel...it was a free Friday download on my Nook from Barnes and Noble. It's decent so far. It;s just a fluff mystery novel.
I just downloaded Deadly Sanctuary to my Nook last night. I figure if there's nothing else I want to read I'll check out the free Nookbooks!

I downloaded this as the free Friday download, too. I haven't had a chance to start it yet, but my students are liking it. I had taken my Nook to school (I work in a juvenile detention center) and yesterday and today they were finished their work quickly so that they could try out the Nook. Maybe I'm onto something with getting them to read??

Oh god I love Goodreads! I'm on there constantly! Its by far the best way to organize your books.

I am currently reading the 3rd book in the Private series. Will probably start Alice I Have Been tonight :)

Cant wait to hear what you think of Alice. Enjoy!

LOVE goodreads and I am also seriously obsessive over paperbackswap.com as well. There is a wish list, reminder list and a books I've read list there to stay organized. I'm a recent Kindle convert but I still want real copies of certain books so I use paperbackswp for that. If anyone checks it out my user name is "TinkyKat"- please use me as a referral!

Any suggestions for spy or caper novels? I blame getting Leverage. Burn Notice and James Bond DVD's for Christmas for kick starting a new book habit.

Vince Flynn and Tom Clancy both have several books out that are "spy" based. I personally read Tom Clancy in chronological order vs publication order so look into that before you start reading his books. They are all very long, 1000+ pages for the most part.

I finally finished, Dead Man's Folly by Agatha Christie. Really good book. Holidays and all sorts of things got in the way of time to read. I'll have more time now.

Next up, Murder in Retrospect, by Agatha Christie. (I go through phases with authors.)

I figure that I will download anything Nook wants to give me for free as long as I know I won't hate it. If it's free, it's for me!

I am currently reading The Toxic Sandbox ( at home) and One drop ( at work):lmao:

The first book is by Libby McDonald and the latter is by Bliss Broyard, they are both spot on and really informative:sad2:

Daniel Silva novels! In particular, go to danielsilva dot com and get a list of the Gabriel Allon series so that you can read them in order.

I suggest reading Vince Flynn's books in order because of his Mitch Rapp character.

They are at least published in chronological order-until his latest which is a prequel. Tom Clancy's books start in the middle of the story, move to the end, back to the middle , to the start, to the end, back to the middle, WAY back to the start....:lmao:

I just finished The Help by Kathryn Stockett and LOVED it. Finished it in a day, and yes I spent that whole day in my pajamas.

Now I'm trying to fit in Jane Eyre again before classes start up and all my reading consists of textbooks again. Definitely one of my all-time favourites. I read it at least once a year.:lovestruc

Reading work stuff today - The Presentation, Secrets of Steve Jobs and Resonate, Present Visual Stories That Transform Audiences. Can you tell I've got a presentation scheduled for February?

I've started Crooked Letter, Crooked Letter by Tom Franklin. So far, I'm enjoying it.
