What are you putting in the Easter baskets this year?

We decided to add a few Disney items to our 2 son's baskets this year since we are going to Disney World this December. They are fast asleep and I ( I mean, the Easter bunny) has just dropped off their baskets! I think they turned out kind of cute. I'll try to post a photo of them if I can figure it out.

DS, 6:
Stitch w/bunny ears
Paint with water book (Mickey Mouse clubhouse)
Play dough eggs
Egg shaped sidewalk chalk
small Lightning McQueen backpack (to hold items in for the plane ride)
Toys R Us gift card (wants and needs a new bike-this will help)
Disney Dollars-to spend on upcoming trip

DS, 3:
Pooh with bunny ears
Paint with water book (Pooh and friends)
Playdough eggs
Egg shaped sidewalk chalk
small Lightning McQueen backpack
Disney Dollars- spend on trip

Here are the kid's baskets: The one on the left is Kody's (6mths old) and the one on the right is for Katie (4yrs old).

And when you run out of things to put in the basket, use your kid!

My girls had our cat Ellie in one of the Easter baskets this morning, lol. I will try to post a picture of their baskets in a bit, I need to get them loaded on the computer first.

Yeah, pretty sure I went a little overboard this year - you can't even see their baskets, trust me they are under there somewhere.

A big thumbs up from my son (no clue why but my pics have been turning out fuzzy lately). Oh and this was taken at 6am (when the younger ones woke up), you can tell my oldest was half asleep, lol.

Ellie's first Easter She was 6 weeks old when we got her at Christmas - she is a big kitty now. And yes, she LOVES to lay in baskets - the kids didn't make her do this (we have so many pics of her in things like this).

We surprised our girls with their trip today, so I went....overboard!
They each got
*$15 in disney dollars
* new pair mickey crocs ($10 each on clearance)
* 15in. Mickey plush (BOGO)
*4 new shirts for trip (less than $4 each)
*postcard from "Mickey" from fairy godmailer
* 2 disney nightgowns (on sale, less than $8 each, don't remember exactly)
*tinkerbell diary/ pen (dollar gen $2)
*Hannah M/ Princess poncho ($5 each fam dollar)
*HSM/Pooh hair set thingy, $1.10 each

DD9 got HSM3, DD2 got Bedtime Stories DD9 got the Birnbaums WDW for kids, she has ADHD and needs all the advance info possible!

No candy at all!!!

They were so excited!!!!!!!!

Even with all the disney stuff, they didn't get it until DD9 read the postcard from Mickey!

wow guys! I can't believe how much some of you give your kids....I am NOT showing my kids this thread!

I bought $12 in Easter candy, that was it.

We reused Easter buckets from last year (Pirates of the Carribean buckets) and I had a full Easter box in the attic with stuff I bought last year at the 90% off sale after Easter.....so each child got a couple of stuffed toys, a couple of little trinket type toys, I used the candy to stuff reused plastic eggs and reused the grass from last year.

They were thrilled. We hid the eggs this afternoon and they had fun finding them.

-- Ty Pennignton At Home magazine

-- Stuff for our cruise (band aids, wet wipes, purell, q-tips)

-- lemon heads

-- hand-dipped chocolate covered marshmallows

-- Mamaloshen (a cd of Yiddish music...mamaloshen means mother tongue)

AND

-- a Life is good shirt (number 44)

The Easter bunny in my house is awesome. I think I'm his favorite.
