What are you doing to make your Disney trips more affordable?

Our way of saving money on WDW trips is to not eat as many full-service meals. Plus eat more meals in our unit (especially when staying at HHI). Plus after next year, we will be doing some trips where we don't do the parks, thus saving on buying passes. The way I look at it, in really tight money times, DVC still allows us to take vacations but with just no frills.

My DH and I only use credit cards that give cash back on things that we would be buying anyway: groceries, gas, and restaurants(infrequently). We pay the balance off every month and then cash in on the bonus right before our trip. That means we are taking about $400 that we "earned" for just buying things that we need. We love our American Express Costco card and a Chase Visa. However, one of those just reduced the cash back amount! Bummer!
