What are you doing/or what should WE do Thanksgiving Day?

We are there for 17 nights starting the night before T-day.

But, my Dsis and her family are only going Wed.-Sat. night (4 nights). So they have some of T-day, Friday and Sat. to hit the parks. They are only going to the parks Friday and Saturday (2 day park hoppers). They are not interested in AK or MK really, so I think Fri. and Sat. we will hit Epcot and MGM.

We have lunch ressies at the Dolphin's "Fresh" rest. at 1:30pm. What should we do in the morning or after our lunch?? What are you all doing T-day? Should we shop? Hang out some at the hotel lounge to watch the football games (Radisson Resort Parkway has a 6 foot X 11 foot screen)?

What would you do if you were us?

I'm not sure about the morning but we will be having a late lunch at Puck's cafe around 3 p.m. and then going to Cirque de Soleil. Thanksgiving is madness at MK so good you will not be planning on being there!

We're spending Thanksgiving Day in the parks, whichever one strikes us at the time, and then have a 6:45 seating at Liberty Tree Tavern for dinner DD10 wants to wear her colonial outfit to dinner. Fireworks, good times, can't wait!

We are going Thanksgiving and have been before. Those 3 days Thurs-Sat were the busiest I've ever seen WDW and we always go when school is out but not Easter or Xmas. Plan on major crowds for that weekend and great crowds starting on Monday after.

Thanksgiving we'll have dinner and probably go to DTD to see Harry Potter. We might go to a park but haven't decided yet. We'll see what we want to do that day.

Anyone know if Thanksgiving is busier than the day after Christmas? That was absolute gridlock after 11am in MK. How is it the week before Thanksgiving? We have been going the week following the holiday weekend, and crowds have been light, we rarely needed a fastpass for anything.

I'm not sure I haven't been at MK then but I was a MGM 2years ago the day after Tday and the wait for RnRC was an hour within 15min of opening. Really crazy, not a huge deal for us but I'd hate to try to do much in the parks that weekend.

Thanksgiving will be our last day at WDW, so we're planning to sleep in a bit. We're have dinner at Whispering Canyon. Other possibilities are visiting resorts, DTD, and maybe a park just for the fun of it. We're doing our major park touring earlier in the week! This will be our first trip during Thanksgiving. Crowded or not, I'm just happy to be going!

Whatever you do, just don't eat Thanksgiving dinner at Denny's. We were so lost and naive on our first trip to WDW. My grandma took us all on a bus tour, and we stayed on Int'l drive at a hotel next door to Denny's. On Thanksgiving day, that's where we ate dinner. Sooo sad, so sad. Worst green beans ever. Blech!

I hope you have a great time and enjoy a delicious meal at one of the great WDW restaurants!

We are having a late lunch at The Garden Grill at Epcot. We will avoid the MK that day, as we learned from our trip last year that it is gridlock at that park. I think T-day will be a nice day to "see the world".

Our dinner reservations aren't until 4:15, at Artist Point. During the day, we're going to try to stay out of the parks. Perhaps, we'll go shopping at DTD in the AM (anyone know if it's it crowded there?). We're also thinking about renting surrey bikes around our resort (OKW), miniature golfing, or renting water mice if the weather's warm enough. We'll probably go over to WL early for dinner so that we can look around at the Christmas decorations there. In the evening, we may go to Epcot if the Illuminations Christmas show has started, or go see the Osborne Lights at MGM.

We arrive 11/23, so Thanksgiving is our first full day. We're starting out with breakfast at Kona Cafe and then we're spending the morning at the MK. It'll get crowded so we'll leave around lunch time. We'll probably skip lunch because we have ressies at the Dolphin ballroom @ 5:00 for Thanksgiving dinner. After we leave the park, we'll probably do something relaxing like a round of minature golf at Fantasia (we're staying at the Dolphin) or we'll hang out at the pool if the weather allows.

We will be at EMH at MK the night before Thanksgiving, so we will be sleeping in on Thanksgiving morning. Then, we may go over to Epcot for a while, swim a little, and go to the Contemporary. We have dinner ADR at Chef Mickey's at 5:10, I think. Then, we will either be doing a Wishes cruise for the evening or we may go back in to Epcot or DTD. Since we have APs, our plans are really open. We will do what we feel like and what the crowds allow.

We arrive Thanksgiving Day, we're going to Epcot and having dinner at 6:30 at YCG. If it were up to me we'd skip the parks that day. My brother and SIL will only bether Thur-Sun so we're trying to fit as much into those days as possible.

Flying in that day, leaving los angeles early that morning. We plan on landing, doing a photo stop at All Stars (the boys want to see the big herbie), then checking in at GF, then dinner and fireworks at CA Grill.

Im planning on going to Animal Kingdom that day. I figure if I get there when it opens and Fast Past the Safari [which is the only thing I would be upset if I missed] I can take my time on the walking trails and maybe catch the Lion King and Bug's Life shows as well. Plus since Animal Kingdom closes by six Ill be able to get back for dinner at my brother's house.

We will spend the day at MGM and head back to the Dolphin after lunch to relax a bit. We have early dinner ressies at Boma's, then we'll return to MGM for the Osbourne lights.
