What are you craving but realistically would never buy?

I'm dying for an expensive purse. I've never in my life paid more than $20 or $25 for a purse -- I usually buy on clearance at Kohl's. I'm 50 years old, I think I deserve something nice, but I can't bring myself to spend the money! (I don't have a particular one in mind.) Right now, of course, since both my DH and I aren't working, it's not anywhere near possible, but even when we had the money I still couldn't make myself do it. Maybe someday...

What do you really want that you know you'll never convince yourself to do?

I would like an iphone but don't use a mobile enough to have a contract so it would cost over £500 I want one but not that much.

I want the Today's Special on QVC today (Saturday, 11/21). It's a B. Makowksy pocketbook, and it's begging me to buy it on the website. I'd take either the butterscotch or green.

But Christmas is coming, I still have a lot of gifts to spend my money on, and I'm hoping that my MIL bought me a bag this year. She got me a gorgeous Coach last year, so that's the biggest reason I haven't ordered it.

That Easy Pay option is so tempting though!

A Burberry ANYTHING, especially a purse or watch. I think their style is so classy. But, I will probably never own anything.

The B Makowsky handbags on today are what made me think about this...

I know there are lots of things I'd buy if I had unlimited money, but the things that I probably should be able to afford and just can't bring myself to buy are what really gets to me! We have the deep tub with the jets, never use it; my cheap jeans from Kohl's are just fine; I'd sure like a sports car but oh well; but a nice Disney vacation? I'd LOVE to stay at WL. Again, don't think I could ever bring myself to go more than POR...

I love the Coach bags too but could never bring myself to buy one, even if i could afford one!!
I'd love to go to Buckle and get "fit" for jeans but I'd prob be too shy to try!!

I've been thinking and thinking since I first read this thread and I'm coming up with nothing..:confused3

I can think of little things - that don't cost much - but otherwise, I'm drawing a blank..

that is the sign of a blessed life:goodvibes

For me: it would be something like the kindle:love: because my mom got me a DSLR just because. :lovestruc

I was going to say the kindle too. I've been wanting one for a year or so but I'm too cheap to spend the money on it because I'm afraid that I won't use it enough.

If you ever decide to go, don't sweat about being shy. The sales people at my local Buckle are AWESOME! They are so nice and helpful and give opinions on which style they think looks best and such. :thumbsup2

I would buy myself Ugg boots. I really, really want a pair. I never thought I'd want to spend that much money on boots until a friend got some and I've seen how well they hold up and hear how comfortable they are. If I get any sort of Christmas bonus or extra money this year, I'm so splurging for some!

A pottery barn kids "wall system" with the baskets! It's over 2k---no way I would actually buy it for a kid's playroom. It would be awesome though!

P.S. I'm waiting for the Target knock-off!

C Ann, i'm the same way. my DH asked me what i wanted for Christmas and i can't even come up with anything. sure, i drive an old car, but i really want for nothing, to be honest. the camaro is just something i lust for, because i know it's unobtainable. my in-laws game me $100 to buy myself something for Christmas, and i can't even come up with anything to spend it on. and i feel bad because i have no ideas! if it weren't a Christmas gift, i'd spend it on my DD.

My dream big ticket item would be a DVC buy in. I wish!

For you gals who are craving a Coach or Burberry bag, check out the outlet malls. I just went to both stores today. I came home with sweet red Coach bag for half price!

It's not that I wouldn't spent it but it would be our 10 day WDW trip we have been trying to save for for the past eight years but can't because of too many hardships:sad1:

2010 Corvette, only if I can find a way to put a carseat in for my 2 year old and a booster for my 4 year old.:thumbsup2

Mine would be an African safari. I can afford the safari but I cannot afford to not have my job and there's no way I can take 3 weeks off at one time. So the safari remains a dream until I can retire.

I would get a 64GB iPod touch. I have the 8GB one that came free with my Macbook but I can't fit all of my music on it. I would absolutely love to have one that I could fit everything on to and have room for more! No way can I justify getting a brand new one now though, especially since I have an iPod that works and I'm in school. Someday!

I would love, but don't need...a new surround sound with blu-ray to go with my wall mounted 50 inch plasma.

Laptop computer, shredder, crockpot, microwave oven... oh, wait, no - that's my Black Friday shopping list...

Oh, I know - I "need" an Itouch!
