My DH and I are going to Orlando to finish out the last days of our non-expiring park days at Disney. The rest of the week I would like to spend branching out and going to SeaWorld. We will be there the first 10 days of June 2016. I was wondering what were the best days to visit Discovery Cove and the main park at Seaworld? We are going to take advantage of the 14 day add on to DC and purchase the option for free parking and Busch Gardens.

Discovery Cove limits its admission, so any day is great. Sea World tends to have crowds similar to standard Orlando tourism. Summers are busy, weekends even busier. Quick Queue and Reserved Seating are very affordable, and can really help get around the park very comfortably. Without them, you will not see every show and attraction in a day, so you can easily pick and choose based on the show schedule and the attractions in the same part of the park.

Thank you for your response. We are planning to be at Seaworld for 2 days. Probably not from open to close but getting there early one day and coming later the 2nd day. I saw that they having, "Summer Lights" with shows and displays afterdark. Does anyone know if there is an extra charge for this experience?

The shows and special park features offered during SeaWorld's Summer Nights are included with your regular SW admission ticket :thumbsup2 . There is no extra charge. In fact, that's one of the things I *love* about SW.....virtually all of their special events (Halloween Spooktacular, Christmas Celebration, Summer Nights, etc.) are all included with your admission, rather than being hard ticket upgrades.

As for your original question (about which days would be best for SW & DC), I would book DC on a day where the regular parks are projected to be busier, as DC has limited admission so are immune from crowds.

For SW, the Dibb has a "busy day guide" that might be helpful for selecting a SW day:
