What are my options?

I've made reservations for the upcoming year. Chances are I'm going to have 2 more points than I can bank. It is unlikely that I'll be able to use those two points. What can I do with them? I have friends that are DVC members, can I give them the 2 points? If so must they be used during this use year? Is there a time frame under which this has to be done? I apologize if this is an elementary question, I'm new to DVC and can't quite find the answer to this question. BTW, I chose to to come up 2 points short when deciding on my reservation. I got a standard view instead of a preferred view at BWV. My thinking was I could either eat 2 points this year or have 28 points less to bank for next year. I chose to have more points for next year in case my college age son decides to go with us and we could swing a two bedroom...Thanks in advance for your input.

you can transfer the points to them as long as neither you nor they have had a transfer this year and they aren't planning any others.
