Now matter what the tradition is, riding a certain ride first, a special place you always eat, or having that picture done on Main Street in MK, tell us what it is..........

Ours is eating the first nights dinner at LTT, and the following morning having breakfast at CP.

Last year I started a charm bracelet and will add only to it when we go back. The only thing that we constantly do when we go to the parks is enjoy a game of mini golf... We are going to have to start something more traditional! :)...

Love the charm bracelet idea! Will have to start that one this trip.

We always have dinner @ Chef Mickey's right after check-in (used to stay exclusively @ Contemporary)

and must always go to Magic Kingdom on 1st full day with Haunted Mansion as 1st stop!

I also love the charm bracelet idea. Where do you get it? Any resort gift shop? Thanks. :)

We always ride It's A Small World first. It was my Mom's favorite ride and she has since passed away.

Ours is going to DTD after check in, as welll as going "cane" fishing at POR on our last full day.

Dinner in the Castle on our last night, taking ds' picture by the sword in MK, taking dd's picture in front of Minnie's quilt in ToonTown.

Stopping in MK at the Main Street Bakery for French Toast Loaf. Yum!

I have the charm bracelet thing as well. Mom and Dad bought it for me when I was about 12 and I have added to it each and every trip. All of my charms are from WDW.

We usually go to DTD on our first evening. We like to eat at the Rainforest, but last year we ate at Planet Hollywood (never again!!!) b/cause the wait was too long at Rainforest.

We always eat at Ohana on our last night.

We try to catch each and every nighttime/ fireworks show together as a family (harder now that we have teens).

We spend a couple of evenings just around our hotel, hanging out, swimming, and enjoying each other without the chaos of the parks all around us.

We have to have at least one visit to Beaches and Cream and have at least one Dole Whip.

We have to visit the Wilderness Lodge and we have to leave Walt Disney World property from The Boardwalk. It is always our last place we see before we go to the airport.

I buy each of the kids an autograph book and a Disney pen. I also take a picture of the kids in Minnie's house, by the fireplace and in a chair in the living room. It's fun to compare the pictures as they grow.

Our first ride has to Peter Pan............. it just gets the magic started.
I have to get a King Crunch bar and we always go to the MK as our first park.

We get the EARLIEST flight out of NJ, check into our resort and head for the Magic Kingdom!! Chef Mickey's is our arrival day dinner tradition!! Crystal Palace is the last character meal of our vacation!!

I also take a picture of our girls in Morocco at the same spot every trip ... to see how they've changed. Why Morocco ... I DON'T KNOW!!! It just kinda happened that way!! :goodvibes

The morning after we arrive, we always go to Chef Mickeys for breakfast. Nothing like having a meal with Mickey and friends!!! The kids love it, and it gets us all fired up for our first full day at the parks! 13 more days!! :Pinkbounc

We have a few:
-I always make up a little goodie bag for each of the family members, and they get to open it once we get in our resort room
-We always ride Cinderella's Carousel and The Haunted Mansion
-We always wear a new set of matching t-shirts on at least one day in the parks
-We always end our stay with breakfast at the Kona Cafe, with some Tonga Toast and pressed coffee

We always take a photo of the kids at the entrance to the MK - standing infront of the Giant Mickey symbol made out of flowers. Both my DH and I have photos of ourselves standing there as children, ears and all. I guess it was meant to be! :earsboy: :earsgirl:
Now we have photos of our children standing there and it's really special. My eyes are tearing just thinking about it!
