What are families traditions while at Disney?

Let's see.....

Here's what we always do:
1. We have to have a Mickey Mouse Ice Cream bar in one of the parks
2. We always ride Buzz Lightyear 1st thing at MK
3. We get a Pineapple Float at MK
4. I get a new charm for my charm bracelet every trip
5. We eat breakfast once a trip at the Rainforest Cafe in Animal Kingdom
6. DS and I always stop at the tea shop in England in Epcot for some British candy (I just love Flake bars!!!)
7. DS and I get fish and chips from the shop in England

Every trip we must...
take a picture of the kids on the big red shovel at Old key West,(my how they've grown)
Eat dinner at Chef Mickeys
last day of trip, breakfast at the Kona cafe,Tonga toast and coffee!
Eat as many mickey bars as we can! :thumbsup2

Our traditions have evolved into making one or trips to LeCellier for lunch or dinner.

Also, we make a afternoon trip outside MK, during the peak crowds, and ride in the cockpit of the monorail around the hotel loop.

I usually go with at least 10 people on my Disney trips and we have started a lot of traditions during the years. Some of these things are done together as a group while others are done with just my DD. Anyway, here are a few....

1)We always eat at Chef Mickey's for at least one dinner.
2)We do the IllumNations cruise at Epcot.
3)We always have to see Spectromagic, Wishes, IllumiNations, and Fantasmic.
4)I always get a bunch of Disney pins and trade them. It's a wonderful way to interact with CM's and other guests.
5)We eat at Sci-Fi Dine In Theater and Rainforest Cafe.
6)We usually try at least one or two other restuarants that we haven't tried before. We will be doing a lot of this on our next trip since we are going on the free dining plan. This time, it will be the 50's Prime Time Cafe, the Marrakesh, Ohana's, 1900 Park Fare, Coral Reef, Hoolywood and Vine, and the San Angels Inn.
7)We always go to the campfire sing-a-long and hayride at Fort Wilderness.
8)We always take a picture of the kids in front of the castle.
9)We always get a passport at Epcot and take it to the different countries and take pictures of the CM's there with my DD.
10)We also have to have a Mickey Bar while we are there.
11) We get as many character autographs as we can.
12)We search all over for hidden Mickeys.
13)We buy at least one thing from each county in the WS.
14)Riding up front of the Monorail.
15)Doing the KidCot staions around the WS.
16) We go around to see how many "Disney Secrets" we can find.
17)We always go to DTD at least once.
18) We go to at least one waterpark.

I'm sure there are many others that I'm forgettting, but this is most of them. Every year, we start several new ones. This year, I will be taking a pic of DD trying different hats on in each county of the WS and buying a piece of candy from each county. We are also going the the Hoop-Dee-Doo show and the Spirit of Aloha show. We're going to rent Mouse Boats at Fort Wilderness too. We are going to DisneyQuest. We are also going on the Magical Fireworks Voyage. I also broke down and bought tickets to see Cirque Du Soleil. I've been wanting to see that forever! I bet we will be dead tired at the end of this next trip! Anyway, thanks for reading. I love this thread.

Our favorite is getting ice cream on Main Street during E-Ticket nights. Looks like that might have to change now that there aren't E-Ticket nights. I know they have EMH, but it's not the same. :(

We've only been on one trip together, but some things we plan to make traditions:

*Always book the first flight out to MCO.
*First "ride": Monorail
*Dinner @ LTT before MVMCP
*Watching Wishes from the Tomorrowland bridge.

First evening is at MK; usually Jungle Cruise followed by POTC. Last night is always dinner at Teppanyaki, followed by Illuminations.

Must go to the Main Street Candy Shop and buy some Peanut Butter Fudge to bring home to my bother, and some pecan roll to bring home to my mom. :woohoo:
