Got threw on the 800-828-0228 first try for our honeymoon we got
AKL savana view 11/28-12/6 for $1347.00 (168.38 taxincude)

Got AP rate applied to POP ressie for 10/13-18. $69 a night + tax.

For Nov ressie 11/6-11 Ap rate same as I had for AKL Pool view. was told no Concierge available for that rate. I think the problem is starting with a Saturday night. Anyway, decided to try out the poly at 209+tax for GV. Will be our first time at Poly

These are same rates as the Pin discount offer....-30 on value; -60 on Mod; -90 on deluxe. Doesn't matter if you upgrade or not still the flat dollar amount off.

AP discounts were much, much better last year for this period. Got actual 45% off and did AKL Conc for 250 a night incl taxes. Am happy for a break but wish it was more.

I was on hold for about 45 minutes, but it was worth it!

We are staying 5 nights at the Wilderness Lodge Villas on points rented from a DVC member, but we wanted to add a few days before and after at some other resorts.

We were able to get the Beach Club (standard view) for the two nights before our VWL ressie (Dec. 10th and 11th) for $221.89 per night including tax.

We were able to get the two nights afer our VWL ressie (Dec. 17th and 18th) at the Grand Floridian (garden view) for $277.64 per night including tax.

We also have three nights after that (Dec. 19th, 20th, 21st) at the Animal Kingdom Lodge (savannah view) for $168 a night including tax.

We already had these reservations, but converting them to the AP rate saved us over $700!

I just got through! On hold a second time for about a half hour (1st time the system was down after a 30 minute wait!). For my dates Nov 3-8, there was nothing at WL but the Honeymoon suite (Sorry not interested - I'm still single!), nothing at Poly, and only a deluxe garden room at Contemporary for $700 a night! Sorry, I'll keep my rack rate at WL! I did not really expect a discount for that time period, but might as well try!

Good news .......

I was also looking for Oct 29-Nov 2 for the 1st half of my trip, and told her I'll take any moderate or value! She found a king bed at Coronado for $99 a night - I'll take it!!!! Same price as an All-Star standard at rack rate for the same time! Probably could have kept searching and gotten a standard, but a king for $99 sounds great to me! Now I am on-site for Halloween!!!

We booked a one night for 10/30 and it was $77.00 w/tax. And 3 nights 11/5-11/08 for 164.00 or 54.64 per night w/tax. Both at PopC standard view, we like the 50's buildings. So we are done, now to fine tune the PS's.

Got $340/night for GF-Lagoon view for Oct.24-Nov.1. No concierge available-still crying. I also booked Poly for Oct.23 for $255-Garden view-was in the process of booking lagoon view at Poly and ****gone-poof. Oh well. Still happy. Best of luck to all

YESTERDAY I booked AKL CL for 5 nights at rack rate. My total was $2369.35 ;
This morning at 9am I checked my email and got the message from Disney re. PH rates. I called and was on hold for 40 minutes but I GOT IT!!
My new total is $1868 I can't believe it!! I just saved $500! YAY! Good luck everyone...

Soap Opera weekend seems to be blocked out for AP rates. That is the tail end of our trip and they have nothing. The CM told me they often block out dates for big events.

We booked the POFQ from 11/28-12/4 88.09 total a night and AKL 134.92 total a night ( pool view ) And 11/27 at the CSR just one night we love this resort 88.09 also. A total of 887+ Thats a big difference from 1,247.48 with just AAA discount I love ap's

Strange...some people are getting AP rates during the blacked-out time (Nov. 10-13) and some people aren't. I guess it depends on who you talk to?

I called right at 6:59:55, got right through, but my dates for POFQ were not available for Oct 23-Nov 2. Probably just a day or two that weren't available, but I didn't want to quibble and lose out on other resorts, so I changed to Riverside for $84/night plus tax. I was really psyched about FQ, and did alot of research on it, and now I have to start my research over!!!! Oh well!!!
