What age were you when you FIRST went to Disney?

I was kind of old..I was 15...but I fell in love with WDW...so I went back and visited Epcot for a day during a spring break in college when I went to Florida. I can't wait to go back now, I want to eventually make this a more frequent trip though, 3 times in 9 years isn't enough!

For my 40th birthday last year! December of 2003. It was a great time to go for the first trip to the World. We absolutely fell in love with it  and wound up going 3 times since.

I was 17. It was my High School trip. Just loved it. Hooked for life!

The first time my family went was around 1972 or 73, but I was left at my grandparents who lived near there at the time. I had no idea what I missed at the time! With that said, I finally got to go to WDW when I was 12. Since that time, I try to get my family to a Disney park at least once a year.

I went in 1971 and stayed at the CR. It was really magical, I was 9 yrs. old. I have been many times since and the magic is still there! :wizard:

I was 12. It was very magical because my sister (then 9) and I came home from school one day and our parents told us to pack our bags because we were leaving for WDW the very next day! My mother remarried and our step father wanted to make sure we got a chance to see the WDW because he thought all kids should experience it at least once. Epcot had just opened and we were entranced with it all. I am still eternally grateful to him!!

I've been back in 1999, and 2004. After our 2004 trip, we started to plan for 2005! Now that we have a dd of our own, we are hooked more than ever.

I was 12, Thanksgiving trip, in 1978. We STILL refer to it as the BEST family vacation ever! All because MY mom worked overtime for a WHOLE year to take her girls to Disney World! Thanks Mom :love2:

It was the year 1981 and WDW was celebrating their "Tencennial" at the Magic Kingdom, which was the only park open at that time. EPCOT was still under construction when I retuned in the summer of '82, so I didn't get to experience it until '83. The moment I looked out the window of the monorail saw the 1st topiary of a Fantasia character on the ride to the park, I was hooked. I have lost count how many trips I've done since then...

My first trip was in 1977, November, as I recall. I was all of six and was totally fascinated with 20,000 Leagues. OH, and Space Mountain. My best memory is being on SM with my dad and two of my parents' friends, one of whom was in the front and white as a sheet (Not a fan of swoopy scary rides). As we approached the top of a hill, I yelled out, "Hey Ducky! Hope you know how to drive this thing!" His reply was a high-pitched, warbling scream as we plummeted into the darkness....

Ahh, the good old days.

pirate: :drinking1

I was 5 and remember seeing the Matterhorn under construction with scaffolding all around. Also saw the Satellite View of America. This would have been 1958.

I was in kindergarten and it was 1974. There weren't really any thrill rides...Space Mountain hadn't been built yet. My mother speaks about this trip regularly...reminding me of how we were at this nice restaurant on vacation and I "-ed" right at the table. Gotta love Mom and her family memories! P.S. Skip the raviolis...

I was....4 months when i went to DL and i was....1 yr and four months when i went to WDW for da first time :goodvibes

It was 1975, I was 6 years old and it was a trip our family will never forget. We went with my parents, grandparents, an aunt and 2 cousins. Everyone but our family of 4 hated WDW so we went back another day without them. We thought the Contemporary was so cool and the people staying there were so lucky. Our dream came true 8 years later when we stayed there.

I was 7 the first time I went to WDW and 12 when I went to DL princess:

I was 17, senior class trip in 1979. First time for dd was in 2003, she was 2 years old.

I was 9 years old, it was June of 1972, and Hurricane Agnes had just flooded most of the Northeast. Heck, it was the first summer DW was open, and my Dad had booked it through a TA friend, my brother, sister and I had no idea where we were going. When we pulled up to the front of the Poly, a young CM actually came to our car, and checked us in, curbside. She was so nice, we kept in touch with her for a bunch of years after that. DW became a standard for us, every two years, of course now that I am a much older kid, I can go whenever I want, see, there are some advantages to growing up.

I was around 3 1/2 when I went to DW the first time. All I remember is having one of those huge striped suckers with mickey's face on it. Now I'm going back at age 23 for my honeymoon. It will be my fiance' first time ever and he'll also be 23!

I was 5 years old when I first went to Disneyland. I was celebrating my 6th birthday and I still remember almost everything that happened. :wizard: I've been going to Disneyland all of my life and just recently went to WDW.
