Yesterday was my 11 year anniversary.
I posted recently about how things were going.. (more downs than ups, and it was becoming a challenge)
I was at a loss for what to do for a present, and didn't feel "sparks" or anything like that.
Well, Saturday was the NEW beginning. He set up an OVERNIGHT babysitter for the kids, and began by taking me to Maggiano's. It recently opened here in King of Prussia, and it was very NICE.
He had a card for me. In it was a beautiful, passionate words about how things are and how he really wants to cherish me, and so many things. It was a blank card, and he wrote on the front inside cover, inside cover, and back inside cover.. for a guy who just usually write his name that was amazing.
I cried, and was wiping my tears, and then he produced a box, a small jewelry box. I was shocked! In it was an anniversary band... and I felt like a princess, and it felt like being proposed to all over again.. In fact, I think some other tables and wait staff thought that.. (more on that later). I can only imagine what it looked like, a jewerly box, a woman trying so hard not to cry with happiness, and a man looking very much in love.
Its a beautiful ring. I don't have much jewerly, (I'm a minimalist person), so this is something I will treasure.
I do think people thought he proposed to me. When we ordered desert (creme brulee), the outer dish had Congratulations written in chocolate on the outside... The waiter was like "Here's your desert, congratulations!"
