Hope you have a good weekend topdog. I am sure it is stressful to have your uncle not feeling well and being responsible to check on him.
Beautiful throw and I too love the bear!
Great pictures as usual and love the closeups on the uniforms of the security guards. We saw the one with the banana when we were there but from a distance when he was in a joke contest with the other actors. He was very funny. I could use a 911 box with a cookie or piece of chocolate in it.
Thanks KSD. Those guards were just hysterical. I thought the one with the glass was the funniest. He reminds me of Drew Carey.
LOL a few years ago when we were at MGM (DHS) the guard/cop wearing spurs was "riding" one of those stick horses

- it had 2 wheels on the end of it that were rolling on the ground as he walked with it. He didn't say anything, just rode it past us a couple times. What's even funnier is that he's holding a riding crop in his hand.
I found the pictures!!! The kid walking past him just looking at him is too funny LOL
I love the characters that roam DHS.
I know how it is to see something at one of the gift shops you want and not get it when you first see it, then spend the entire vacation searching for it -- my DF did that with a pair of Mickey cargo shorts one year. The throw is very cute and so is the watch. I love those incentives they offer. I hope they have something good this month!
I hated it when that happen because I am just so not in buying mood at the beginning of the trip.
Since you take so many photos, do you have many of them printed? How do you store all of them? On DVDs?
Anxiously awaiting the next TR update.....
DVD won't work for me because I took over 24 gig worth of pictures and I don't like to delete anything even the bad ones. A blue-ray disc would work but I don't own a blue-ray burner. Right now I have them store on my iPod. When I am all done, I have a 1 terabyte drive that can store them. Ultimately, I can back them up on tape also.
Yes, I do printed some of my pictures usually in 4x6 format. I do have a few in 11x17 format also.
Still here enjoying your trip report and getting even more excitied for our Anniversary trip in May with our kids and my parent's.
I hope you have a wonderful trip and come back with an exciting TR to post.
So sorry to hear about your Uncle.

I know what your going through because my Aunt is in the hospital from a motorcycle accident that happened two weeks ago today. She lost her right leg from the knee down and now they just found out she has gangreen (sp?).

She's blaming part of it on the nursing home she was in for not changing the bandages as much as they should have even after she would ask them numerous times about the condition. But at least she's close enough to me that it's only about a 45 min drive to go see her but it's really hard with two little ones under the age of two.

So I'm keeping your uncle in my thoughts along with my aunt.
So take your time with your next update we will be here waiting patiently for it.
Thanks for the hug and the thought. Sorry to hear about your aunt to lost her leg. That must be very scary with the gangreen. 45 min drive isn't bad but with 2 little one, that's tough. For me, it will be at least 2 hours drive because my uncle lives in NYC. Parking is another issue. Unless I have to, I hardly drive to NYC anymore.
That is really nice!! Nicer than the one we got in '07!!
Hope they have the promotion going in May!!
I hope you have a wonderful trip in May. What does the one in 07 looks like?
I'm really sorry to hear about your uncle...hope he will be better soon!
Your sense of humor is very dry... too funny!
Thank you for the good wish.
Topdpg:
Just wanted to say how much I am enjoying your thread. I ran across this about 11:00 p.m. tonight and have gotten to page 17. It is 1:30 a.m. and I hate to but I have to shut the computer down and call it a night! I am thoroughly enjoying your pictures and your sense of humor that comes across in your writing. The pics of the animals at AK were so real I felt like I could reach out and stroke those beautiful parrots!
Can't wait until tomorrow when I can finish reading what you have written!
Great job!
Thank you. Glad you like the TR and the pictures. Take your time, I still have a lot to write and pictures to post. You are definitely a die hard fan now.
I pray that all goes well with your uncle and your family. I am here waiting patiently. We have no control of "life" sometimes!
Thank you MadiMouse for the prayer.
I hope you and your family can get your uncle the medical attention he needs.
The older ones can be stubborn and difficult at times.
My Grandfather last summer, waited until his gallbladder went gangrene until he got the surgery he needed.
God Bless
Gallbladder went gangrene.

Yikes!! I hope he's fully recover now.
I already went through something similar with my mother 2 years ago and now my uncle. I am getting worn now. Thanks for the hug.
This is a great TR! I love your sense of humor! Disney should have dessert at breakfast! It just makes sense! My family has a rule that you can have dessert at Christmastime. I also love all your pics. My husband is a photographer and he (and I) would have been physically ill if he had forgotten his cameras!
Can't wait for the rest of the story!
Thank you. Funny you mention about dessert. Actually, I am not a dessert person. I hardly eat any sweet at all. However, when I goes to vacation, that's a whole different story. I just let it loose.
Sorry to hear about your Uncle. I'll keep him in my prayers. Update when you can family comes first
Thanks Annie.
