My granddaughter's meal last night was delicious. She made the cornbread from scratch. Tonight my older granddaughter is making fried rice. Not sure what we will have with it.

I went to a friend’s annual Halloween party today. It’s a 3 day event with camping but I just go for Saturday.

Lots of delicious food. Mac and cheese, sweat and sour meatballs, French onion soup, Cesar cups, charcuterie board, roasted veggies, other things I’m forgetting, and a variety of desserts.

I went to a friend’s annual Halloween party today. It’s a 3 day event with camping but I just go for Saturday.

Last night I had leftover lasagna at work. Tonight I had an open face chili dog. A slice of bread and put the hot dog on top and then some chili and mozzarella, in the microwave for a few seconds to melt the cheese. It was good.

I chopped and roasted some potatoes, carrots, peppers, and onions with some olive oil and garlic alongside some Aidell's chicken sausage links. We like the pineapple bacon flavor. We had some fresh blueberries with it.

Lovely meal last night. We had marinated veggies to start ( aka vegetables á la Grecque) followed by roast chicken and tartiflette (think cheese and potatoes) which made for a very filling meal. I brought some pears up with me from the house in Normandy so we sliced one, sprinkled it with almond slivers and served with a small dish of ice cream; this is living!

I’ve done it in the past, I’m not a camper. He said we could stay in a guest room if wanted to stay over but it’s only a 30 minute drive to his place.

Last night we had dinner at Casey Jones Restaurant in Ronks PA. Everyone thought their meals were just okay. Mine wasn’t good. I got soup salad and sandwich. Very bland. Today we have lunch at the Chocolatier in Hershey and dinner will be snacks at the Halloween night in Hershey park.

Tonight & tomorrow night we're having chicken w/ brown rice over black beans. I may add an extra side tomorrow night, just to have something a little different.

We leave on our anniversary cruise on Sunday. I expect tomorrow to be crazy busy getting everything ready to go & don't want to have to worry about what's for dinner.

Saturday went sideways- but in a good way- as we met friends for a beer around 3pm and ended up ordering pizza, too. Neither of us was hungry for supper at a reasonable hour, but DH picked up pad see ew around 9:30 so had some of that.

Tonight... no clue. Maybe leftover chicken soup with BLTs, or maybe I'll make a turkey noodle casserole (we have 3 packages of frozen ground turkey). Guess I should shake down the freezer and get some inspiration for tonight and the rest of the week.

Are you going out of NJ? I’d be curious to hear how it goes. I have found that port to be easy to drive to and boarding to be easy. We booked a cruise for next year and sold friends on it being easy and now I’m nervous.

Homemade pizza 2 days in a row! The baby shower we went to was a “special delivery” pizza theme. Sooo cute! And, they had a local bakery setup a pizza oven and made fresh pizzas from her sourdough. Amazing! She’s fun to follow on Instagram, if you love cooking. Doughanddirt
I’m prepping the chicken and ingredients for crockpot shredded tacos. Going to have a taco party for an early dinner. My avocados are perfect for quacamole!

No, we're going out of Miami. We live between Port Everglades and Port of Miami. We just take an Uber & avoid parking fees.
