Wet, Sweat, Fun & Sun But You Have HOW Many Snack Credits Left?

Sorry for the absence.....again.......
We have had this slow moving stomach bug running through the house. I think we're clear and boom, another one goes down. Right now I'm sitting here freezing as I've opened up windows to try and get some fresh air in the home & I didn't want to choke everyone out with the gallons of Lysol I've been spraying. I think I've been dealing with it for over 2 weeks. Horrible stomach cramps when I eat (anything) and then this past Sunday was 6 hours of pure misery. Now dealing again with the stomach cramps......ugh! Have Shy & hubby home today with it.....oh joy.....only one kid left who hasn't seemed to have any symptoms yet and that's Addy. Well the way this has been spacing out.....she could spend Christmas sick again. Last year she started the morning by throwing up. I'm praying we are all over this and healthy by next week. I'm so over this........................................

Christmas time has been busy and finding a few quiet moments to gather thoughts and tackle Photobucket just hasn't happened. I will get back to this and I appreciate everyone's patience and checking back on me. My goal is to get some updates to this by weekend's end. Please come back!!!

So sorry to hear that. Hope everyone is well by next week!!

I'm so sorry you're all poorly, I hope you're all better for Christmas

Thank you both!! I was all set to do a new update and woke up yesterday with a fever, headache and every part of me feeling like I'd been hit by a Mack truck. Today is a bit better but woke to the news of a friend passing from a very aggressive melanoma cancer. A week & a half ago, he was working & fine....today he leaves behind a wife & young daughter with spina bifida. A faithful man and family that has been through the wringer the last 2 years. The wife has had 2 rounds of cancer herself and then they lost a baby in utero about 6 months ago. I can't imagine having that much thrown at me and being able to be so thankful and faithful like they have been. A real testiment of faith & love.

No worries. I hope you feel better soon and esp before xmas. Hope the WHOLE family is better so you all can enjoy the day. And how horribly tragic for that poor family. My prayers to all!

Dealt with a bout of that myself not just a few days ago. :( Hope you're much better now!! Wishing you a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

We thankful kicked all the illness out by Christmas. It was such a shock about our friend, they had the service this week but unfortunately, we were at Doernbecher's that day for Michayla's dental appointment (that takes months to get in so couldn't postpone....)

Hopefully that will be it for this winter & illness.......I've had my fill of it!!! Hope your family stayed healthy and had a wonderful Christmas & New Years!

Happy New Years!! Hoping 2016 is a *+*+*Magical*+*+* year for each of you!!

Let's get back to this trip report.......

So last I left off, we were at the Animal Kingdom park, dying from the heat & humidity, Shy was sick from the heat, it had rained briefly adding to the humidity in an already humid/hot park. We got our ice water's and headed toward our FP+ selection of the Kilimanjaro Safari's. We were early, so we found a bench to sit on, feed Michayla and it was next to one of those huge fans, so we misted kids and put them in the fan breeze.

When it was time, we got in the Fastpass line and then sent to a different line to take the wheelchairs in. We had a few families before us, so we had about a 20 minute wait. We were loaded into the very front of the vehicle, behind the driver. We were pretty happy with the amount of animals we saw!!

More animals on our Kilimanjaro Safari.

Wouldn't this make a neat puzzle?!!

Finishing up our safari.

The regular safari rigs, let people off at the exit for the safari, if you are on the wheelchair rigs, you go back to the loading area.....in doing so....you get to see a small part of the "backstage" area......look at what the CM's built....their own safari.......lol

We unloaded and exited the safari. We noticed a photopass photographer on the pathway back from the safari, so we stopped to get these pictures. Shy was thrilled......lol (ok, she just was not feeling it.......)

Next up was seeing the Festival of the Lion King Show. We were put in the wheelchair line to wait.

We are escorted in and given the benches on the floor.

More of the Festival of the Lion King.

A little inside trivia for ya.......this couple met doing this show and have since married!! (aahhhhh)

So we got to the end of the Can You Feel the Love Tonight song when the show was stopped. A "canned" announcement came on and said that the show had to be stopped and they apologize but please make your way to the nearest exit. We thought one of the monkey performers had been injured. So we left disappointed that we didn't get to see the whole show. (Mike & I had seen this back in 2013 and really wanted the kids to see the whole thing).

Beautiful pictures! Nice and crisp and some pretty close up. :) I hope the misting cooled the kids enough that they started feeling better; no fun to tour with the yuckies!

OMG!!!! How scary. The pics came out good and I love festival of the lion king

You got great lion photos :)

What a shame your show got cut short, it looks like you had fun though!

Mike's got a nice camera and some of the animals actually did get pretty close to our vehicle.
