My day is OK. I relaxed all day and we went to bucca di bepo for dinner and had a few drinks

Thanks deb, Im doing alot better. I had a sore throat that week ,like alot of people said thay had from the ship but when I got home it went right to my chest and I had high fever and cough and was shocked when I was told I had right lower lobe pneumonia. I just think it was the weather change and being on the go constantly. The extra week at disneyland did me in but we had alot of fun there.
We talked to 2 more cast members too that day that had been on the cruise.
Tom and I are trying to decide what to do next. We have been talking about a Alaskan cruise but nothing can compare to DCL so we might just hold out for the 2010 announcements and see what happens.

I think you need to take a trip up to Michigan! There's nothing to see here, but we could all drive up to the Mackinac Bridge (I think it's about 4 hours) for a weekend. You might see bears & moose up that way.

Hey marilyn.

I'm a full house of kiddos today. I've got 2 of Molly's friends and one of Wilson's. I guess that's 3 of a kind and a pair huh see this is why no poker for me.

Tonight starts VBS for the kids. Should be fun. It's titled "Power Lab" I tell ya church these days has gotten so much more entertaining than when I was a kid. We were happy memorizing bible verses, these kids get a full on theactrical performance during this week. Singing & dancing....

VBS is in the evenings from 6-9pm, so Paul and I get 4 date nights. I better go tell him he needs to plan something or we'll be watching tv

I wish our VBS was in the evenings, but then Tyler wouldn't get to go on Thurs & Fri when at his dad's. But it's 10am-1pm, and I'd lose too many hours at work taking him to day care first, then leaving to get him to VBS, then back to work and back to get him to day care for the rest of the day. It just wouldn't work.

Good to hear from you Heather, hope you feel better. could be weather change so quickly after left the Cabo. I was so cold at night in LA, I end up bought disneyland sweatjacket. I am glad that I bought it as I need it at the winter for going to my work. It is warm, grey with Mickey Mouse

It was lovely to meet you all and thanks for the lovely gift for Olivia and I am sure she will use it later.

Anyway, we booked for Oct but we wait and see for 2010.

I have been in Australia 3 times and there are beautiful country. I want to go back there again. I am thinking to go back for my big 50 to see our families there and some travelling around too. But I cannot make up my mind whether Australia or new ship??

I would love to go on Sept but same again as cannot take the kids out of school as the kids are return to school at middle of August that why I feel like

The night before the Prom we went to Lord and Taylor and I had her fitted for a special bra that would not show. I know it is hard to believe, but she does have a bra on!!

This dress she found at Macy's in Feb....after all the discounts, she paid $4.99 plus tax for it!!

Wow that is a good deal. My formal night dress was $10.00 at JC Penny after Christmas.

We don't have graduations, but proms have become increasingly the norm. When our children left school I think they did their own celebrations, but soon the 'ball' became popular, gradually turning into the 'prom'. Prom dresses and limo's to take the girls to their destination is normal now.

They need something to celebrate. My entire senior was a lot about planning the prom and graduation parties. I graduated on my birthday!

I would love to do that except that Bethany is in school then.
We justified taking her out for the canal but I think it would have to be something really special to do that again.
We really want to do Austrailia next summer but I just dread that flight.

Yea, good point. It would be hard to take Bethany out of school again unless it was another special cruise. I understand. Australia would be awesome, but I can't even imagaine being on a plane for that long. I agree it would be dreadful. You'll work it out with Tom, I'm sure. Then there's always the 2010 DCL schedule to check out when it becomes available.

That Walgreens lady was rude! I would love to look at Mickey all day long, not just for 6 hours. We LOVE Mickey. I guess some people are just not mouse lovers, which I can't even imagine! Well you feel good about getting all those pictures to look at and just feel bad for her that she just doesn't get it!
