When we bought mine we had a young lady waiting on us. She has and I-phone and a Blackberry so could discuss the pros and cons of each with us. She also gave me her card and said I should call her if I had ANY trouble. I call that SERVICE!!

You can do it. It will take some "getting used to" but, if I can learn a new phone, you can do it too (After all, I am older than dirt, an Old Geezer and old enough to be your Mom)

Thanks deb, Im doing alot better. I had a sore throat that week ,like alot of people said thay had from the ship but when I got home it went right to my chest and I had high fever and cough and was shocked when I was told I had right lower lobe pneumonia. I just think it was the weather change and being on the go constantly. The extra week at disneyland did me in but we had alot of fun there.
We talked to 2 more cast members too that day that had been on the cruise.
Tom and I are trying to decide what to do next. We have been talking about a Alaskan cruise but nothing can compare to DCL so we might just hold out for the 2010 announcements and see what happens.

Sept 12, 2009 Eastern Cruise to Tortola might be fun.......

I would love to do that except that Bethany is in school then.
We justified taking her out for the canal but I think it would have to be something really special to do that again.
We really want to do Austrailia next summer but I just dread that flight.

Ive been relaxing and putting pics into my albums. We had around 1500 and sent them to walgreens and when I went in to get them the next day, the lady goes "Ohhhh, your the one"!
She said she was tired of looking at Mickey pics for 6 hours. I just started LOL but she didnt think was funny.

Makes sense not to skip school, but if you change your mind, you know where to find a lot of us.....

That lady at Walgreens needs to get a life... I hope her attitude did not mess up your day.

We had 5140 for this trip and we loved it! Deb is right, your so close to the movie theatre and even better right next to the aft elevators that end up at the buffet and even better the drink station. That hallway was really quiet i thought!.
The walgreens lady was rude and since she was I just happened to have my 6 disposable cameras that I needed to drop off too for her to develop Heres another few hours of Mickey for her

We have already gone to Illinois for one celebration, and we are going to Rock Falls again the last weekend in June for a wedding, but we have ALL of JULY FREE! I want to have a party!

Let me know if you can come.....and which weekend would be best.....

No, Patrick cannot put that puzzle together, too small

Our "weekend" away was a complete BUST! The nursing home was not appropriate for our Patrick......Thank God for our Michael! He brought him home on Friday and Saturday during the day, and checked him out on Sunday. Chuck and I re arranged our flights to come home on Sunday night........
I can't quite figure out if the problem was that Patrick has so many needs, or if he is too spoiled, and expects too much care, or if the nursing home isn't the right environment for him.

I was tempted to make him stay for the whole 5 days, in spite of his complaints......I don't think it would have hurt him at all! But Chuck was freaking out, he totally didn't want him there! He felt that he was in danger to be there, but I didn't......I am the "hard" discipline parent. I made Patrick do so much when he was younger, but Chuck is very soft on him........I guess we need a middle ground.

So now I am back to square one........looking for the appropriate environment for him to stay for at least a week.......got a big job in front of me!

What is that guy's problem? He has a couple videos up there and he seems to be dising everything and I do not mean DISing like we do which is a good thing, but the dising that is negative.

Also, anyone remember the numbering system of the lifeboats? Where would lifeboat #1 be?

not much going on here. Trying to start a nighttime schedule with the girls. They are in bed.

I wish our VBS was in the evenings, but then Tyler wouldn't get to go on Thurs & Fri when at his dad's. But it's 10am-1pm, and I'd lose too many hours at work taking him to day care first, then leaving to get him to VBS, then back to work and back to get him to day care for the rest of the day. It just wouldn't work.

I have to say at first I thought it was weird at night, but I've gotten used to it over time and now I really like it. Sorry Tyler can't go. I know how much fun Molly and Wil have at ours. My sister is teaching this year and she is going CRAZY getting herself and gear together. I have to take the camera as I think the pictures are going to be NUTS
