Anybody do an excursion with Pelican Adventures?

This van was so beat up it looked like it rolled down a hill and then was pressed into service. We were thankful we got onto the busses they had for us on the Sea & See Tour and not that one.

I didn't take that one but here is a picture of the city bus we took:

You can sit outside in the sandbox and pretend its the beach. Don't use any sunscreen and you'll get the same sunburn we got at Castaway Cay

It was more fun than doing laundry and now I'm paying for it!

That's funny about the sand box. Maybe his present could be that you will apply the sunscreen for him so he doesn't get sunburned! Jon just doesn't want to see his parents and I can't help him with that.

Hello everyone. I have been away from the boards for a while because we had plans all weekend. I thought I would just go back a few pages but I see a lot of pictures so maybe I'll skim a few more.

How is everyone doing? I still can't get enough sleep. I have a pile of clothes to fold that I haven't gotten around to. The kids get out of school in three days and I won't be able to go into work as much so I should get caught up then.

I saw Bubba and Venetia last night and it was like I had never been away from them. I'm not worried about that friendship at all. We will stay in contact forever! We had a nice two hour dinner just like on the ship. We did ask each other a few times why our napkins weren't put in our laps and why they didn't bring us free dessert!

I hope everyone is well. I'm going to read a few pages now.

We had a great time with you guys too and Yeah where were those MULTIPLE desserts anyway? I also know that we have made a lifelong friendship with you and Jon. Miss you already.

Just a few from our day in Aca....we had Hector "the protector" drive us around for the day and had a blast....he did take us to that one hotel (the Flamingo?) and we all experienced the Coco Loco (which wasn't very good.....Scott and I had to finish it for everyone else because they didn't like it!
The kids all ordered sodas, although apparently Taylor ordered a margarita! She was thinking a virgin one, but the waiter had to tell me she was too young!

Lisa's drink was attacking her.......so the pic didn't come out!

Yesterday was my second time back leading WW meetings.

I weighed in and I'm happy to report that I lost 3.1 lbs from the Sunday before, a combination of strict point tracking and increased activity.

My members insisted that I give myself stars, so my name tag was covered in "Bravos."

It felt good to be back on track. I also feel great eating healthier again.

I need to get at least 10 pounds under my goal weight in preparation for the next cruise!
