None of our postcards have arrived yet from the PC day. I know that is Central America and we are the UK, but how about the rest of you?

I'm glad to see them, I wish we had Paul in the middle in red, then they would have been a candy cane :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Perhaps we can insert Paul into this one.

Our terminally ill neighbour is coming home from hospital today. His wife said she didn't want a hospice, so our UK Cancer nursing service - Macmillans are going to be looking after him overnight. When we went on holiday just 5 weeks ago he was fine.:(

This is so sad. I came back to work to notification of a memorial service for a woman around my age that I worked with for years but had not seen for some time. She was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and died within 5 weeks. Very sad, she was a nice lady.

That is very sad and very quick. A reminder of our own mortality I think.

The postcard we sent to ourselves arrived last Saturday, without a postmark, the others, all to UK addresses arrived before we got home around 28 May.

I am so very, very interested in this subject. We were just discussing it this week as we are letting our Melaleuca vitamins go and are wondering if there are any comparable to theirs. ?????? Are you able to send me the powerpoint presentation.

I must have passed this man a million times on the cruise and had no idea who he was. I kept telling DH that he looked familair, but I didn't know who he was.... now I realize he was your husband. Bummer:(

Ahh, that is assuming that I get it done and understandable to someone not listening at the same time....which is not a guarentee!!! I absolutely panic at speaking in front of groups...but this talk if for MD's so the pressure is 10x worse for me. You would think after 12 years in practice I would handle it all much better, but nope, I still panic every time!!! If not the powerpoint, then I can send you the notes...but it won't be until later this week...I know I won't have it done before Thurs at 6pm:lmao: That is early for me, the talk is at 7pm!

This guy! Not Paul.

yup, he goes with me!

  Stories like these are so tragic.

It certainly makes you want to hug your kids and loved ones an extra time every day and live for the moment....because, unfortunately, you never know!

Loved Silvio! Sophia and I "caught" him getting ice cream one night, very late and the look on his face when the chocolate sauce bottle was empty too funny! But two new bottles of sauce showed up in seconds, lol. He was great when I needed green apples the night after Cabo. Goofy's was closed and he ran over and picked up some and got them to me in moments.

YUP!! That's Silvio!! We wanted that cheese danish one morning and they were out. He made sure there was plenty the next day. Another time we wanted to duck into Topsiders and get C.Chip cookies to eat after our chicken fingers but they wee closed. He said he would get some. I said not to worry. He said he would get some. I said AGAIN not to worry. He got some and FOUND US! What a guy!

Aw, thanks Monica! I can't wait to show Tyler when he gets out of the bath. But I'm wondering where the heck I was because I definitely don't remember being there! :rotfl2:

According to Monica's blog the pictures of Tyler with Bobby that you do not remember were before the DIS Thread group photo.

These balls are supposed to look like owls and scare the pidgeons and other birds away from sitting on the building, leaving messes and making nests. We have them in downtown Indianapolis.
