I thought about going out to Port Canaveral to watch the Magic when she comes back in but just checked her schedule and she gets in on a Monday. Oh well....there goes that idea!

Found out one of my friends is going to try to get married on the DW 3nt leaving the 16th of October....2 people are already off so even if I had the time to take it doesn't look like I'd be able to go....wouldn't be able to go anyways unless it was a really good rate (she's looking for the CM rate). We'll see....Don't know how I'd be able to handle only 3 nts....

For those of you that use Creative Memories albums----now that they've gone to the true 12x12 albums & pages the old 12x12 (really 11.45x12) pages are going on the retired list.....will probably end up as WSL.

I know I'm about to put in my order for the old pages as I have several of the older albums/coversets.

They also just came out with a bunch of new Disney stuff--new Disney coversets (12x12 and smaller), picfolios, paper and stickers.

Now I just need to get back to scrapping!

Hello everyone. I have been away from the boards for a while because we had plans all weekend. I thought I would just go back a few pages but I see a lot of pictures so maybe I'll skim a few more.

How is everyone doing? I still can't get enough sleep. I have a pile of clothes to fold that I haven't gotten around to. The kids get out of school in three days and I won't be able to go into work as much so I should get caught up then.

I saw Bubba and Venetia last night and it was like I had never been away from them. I'm not worried about that friendship at all. We will stay in contact forever! We had a nice two hour dinner just like on the ship. We did ask each other a few times why our napkins weren't put in our laps and why they didn't bring us free dessert!

I hope everyone is well. I'm going to read a few pages now.

We loved the fireworks at DL, though the crowds were much worse than WDW. I suppose that is because they are not held every night. We did find a good spot. I think they are better than WDW.

Yes, it's an amazing show. It was only supposed to run for a year during the celebration and then they kept it for this year because it was so popular. As was the parade. They put an amazing amount of time into the planning of these two shows.

California Here We Come

I have booked a little trip for Sukie and I to Disneyland in September after Labor Day. We arrive very late on Friday, September 5th and return home early on Tuesday, September 9th.

Sukie has never been to DL. The last time I was there was around 1979, perhaps 1981. I hear it's changed.

I booked a room for us at the HoJo. The rate was pretty good and I just couldn't see using DVC points. I didn't think they were a good use of points. I just have to get us park hoppers and we'll be all set.

We'd love to see some of you California types when we are out there.

Sukie is being very blasé about it, which is typical. He never pays much attention to our vacation plans until we're on the plane.

Welcome, we'll set up a meet as time gets closer. Are you planning to get married on any special day?

Sorry I missed you too.

Can you give us an address for the webcams so we can watch from time to time?

After a bit of research yesterday, it turns out that none of webcams shoot where the Magic sits. I'm sure they'll change that by 2011.

Well, I just remembered I am giving a talk on Thurs night...and I need to have a powerpoint presentation done for it So, I think I had better start working on that instead of walking down memory lane.....but is so much more fun to remember the cruise than to do a powerpoint on digestion and which vitamins are absorbed the best!

I must have passed this man a million times on the cruise and had no idea who he was. I kept telling DH that he looked familair, but I didn't know who he was.... now I realize he was your husband. Bummer

What is it about kids on Formal Night and Mickey Bars???? Don't they know that laundry is a pain to do on board and chocolate doesn't come out easily?

Ok, that was week 1.....now onto a few from week 2...

Cute pictures. We used that opportunity in the port as well, right at the same moment, in my sister's room. I'm sure you could have found someone to take a picture of the eight of you though The kids look great and that sign is really funny! I think the clubs closed too early too. My kids would stay up for an hour or two after we got in the room and then sleep until 11:00 or 12:00. One day it was around 9:00 am and Ethan said "Mom, I can't sleep". He thought it was the middle of the night!

I thought this feeling would go away, but I still expect to see green lanyards when I am out shopping or to see somebody from the cruise.

I've not had this happen from other cruises.

So to all of my fellow cruisemate Fathers out there. Let me put this to you.

Last month we took our darling wives to Castaway Cay for Mothers Day. As things should be equal - what do we get for Fathers Day next week?

My birthday is June 16 so Father's Day isn't really that special around here. We always celebrate our birthdays really well. We usually take a trip to the river but this year we are waiting until July since we just got off the ship. Mother's Day usually isn't that special either since we are usually running around to my parents and my in-law's house. I guess I really feel special this year!

Can anyone that had children age 11-13 in Ocean Quest tell me if there was an option to choose not to have your child sign themselves out? On the main boards there is a discussion going on and most are saying that this age group no longer has the choice NOT to sign themselves out. Since the WB cruise was the first time they created this new age group there are a lot of questions being asked about it

They told me that if I put my daughter in that group, she would not need to sign in/out and they don't check. I still did it, she was fine.
