You drive too far to work. Jon drives 20 minutes and he hates it!

And now you know why Shannon wants to get a new job and we are planning on moving.

This working in two different cities is getting a bit much for us.

She works that far too? That is rough with the kids and the house and all the sewing!

That was really a fun day and being the Dream Family to sit in Walt and Lillian's box was our second magical moment that day. We got on the train at Tomorrowland just after 9 am and we were the only guests on the train with Minnie, Pluto and Goofy! :cool1: Goofy and PJ had quite a lot of fun!

Did you guys win the box? We won fast pass tickets for all the rides once and we won the character dessert once. It was cool to do something extra that no one else gets to do.

I think I missed something....you 3 were chosen as the dream family? Do tell! Pictures?

It was a small Dream. We got to sit in Walt and Lillian's box at Golden Horseshoe. Very cool though. There is a photo album there of the box over the years including Walt and Lillian's 30th anniversary.

I'm wondering how cold it would be in the summer. I thought about it yesterday. I really don't want to have to buy a lot of winter clothes.

LOL

Alaskan Cruises are generally only in the summer. Average Temps in the main areas of ports of call are generally in the 60's to 70's at that time of year. (Sitka, Ketchikan, Juneau, Anchorage)

If it goes into the Aleutian islands it will dip closer to the low 60's and 50's.

And if it makes port in Vancouver, BC or Victoria, BC - just bring rain gear with your shorts and t-shirts.

You won't be buying ANY winter clothes. Pants and sweaters should probably work just fine. Rain gear will probably be more appropriate than parkas.

Oh yes and make sure to bring your cameras and binoculars and be prepared to spend LOTS of time up on Deck 10 as the views will be spectacular and you never know when you will see a pod of Killer whales.

I think someone from each Disney department reads most of the busy threads. They use these for a lot of their feedback. People will say things here they wouldn't put on the cards, if they fill the cards out.

Being a Gemini too, I have always been told I am two different people. I kind of like it sometimes, keeps people guessing. :rotfl2:

OK guys where else do you want to go? We need to keep talking. And what a job to have, just sit around reading DIS boards all day and deciding where the ship goes!

I like being different people as well and it's nice to know that someone else keeps people guessing!

As for Brooke, she is caring and crying a lot because now she is worried about losing us. I use to tell my kids not to worry because we would be old when we died but now I know I can't say this anymore. This lady was only 40. She just got diagnosed in November so this was really quick.

Oh, that is a difficult thing to deal with and I guess only time and a lot of love will help.:grouphug:

Hi everyone.

Sorry I have not posted earlier. We all have been sick since leaving the Magic. Heather is well, but Cameron and I are still not 100%.

I wanted to thank all those that made our trip so wonderful. Especially our tablemates for giving us those special times that we will remember for a lifetime.

I will try and catch up on some of your posts to see how all of you are doing. Lori, if you happen to read this, Heather is trying to track you down.

Thanks,
Joe

Sorry you have all been ill. Seems so many fellow cruisers have been and still are.

No, I'm the one who commutes. She works in the town we live in (Quesnel), I work in a different city (Prince George). She is exactly 7.3 kms (4.5 miles) from work to home. I am 120kms (74.56 miles) from work to home.

Same with us too, we woke up at 4 am, wide awake. Confused where we are!!

My husband blame too light at night and morning. Different in USA.

Our kids got up 12 am (midnight) they confused. we put them back to bed and my daughter woke my husband up at 6 am this morning.

Keith and I went to see speech therapy this morning, to my embassment, that my son keep yawn, yawn, yawn. Huh

Hopeful next week back to normal because I was fine then tired then fine how strange.

Wow, I'm scared to take a trip over there if it's going to take me so long to adjust. The kids had a hard time because they were so tired but I loved how the time slowly changed back to our normal time. We started out going to sleep and 1:00 am and waking later in the day. By the time we got home we were going to bed at regular time and waking up at 7:00 or so. It was great for us. Sorry so many of you are having so much trouble.

Storm who as actually Yuri's brother Ralph, stole it because we was bitter towards Yuri.

The picture was painted on the back of the blue prints Disney World World.

It was in the Portfolio.

Courtesy of my sister and BIL who did it.

Of course you would know!

Hi JOE!

I'm sorry you are all still down. Taylor and I still have the lingering cough but overall are better. Big Hugs from us to you and your family. I'll let lori know that heather is looking for her.

I have her info of you want it. She isn't posting here yet.

I keep forgetting to ask too.

I never got to continue with the activities because I couldn't get rid of Tyler long enough.

I saw you hanging outside Rockin Bar D with Tyler one time!

70 is alright but nothing colder. The wind would be horrible!

Good to know. So she is trying to find a job closer to your work so you can move?
