Hi everyone.

Sorry I have not posted earlier. We all have been sick since leaving the Magic. Heather is well, but Cameron and I are still not 100%.

I wanted to thank all those that made our trip so wonderful. Especially our tablemates for giving us those special times that we will remember for a lifetime.

I will try and catch up on some of your posts to see how all of you are doing. Lori, if you happen to read this, Heather is trying to track you down.

Sorry to hear you guys got sick too. I hope it passes quickly for you all. It seems we all had one form or another of the cruise crud. Jacinda and I are pretty much back to 100% but Dominic's cough is still lingering a bit. We loved seeing you guys at dinner every night and have great memories of all of the special times we shared. We will have to try and have a dinner reunion one day! That would be fun.

Yup and I miss you guys a hell of a lot too! We gotta get some summer plans going asap. I am still looking at those Cabo rentals and trying to figure out what I like best. Ocean view/ocean front walking distance to downtown or gated community and a car rental......ok I admit it I just need something to plan!!!!!

I showed him the clip and he said, "not really anything that would get you arrested"...such a happy go lucky guy that he is.

Sadly, he is still having ear problems. He is going back to his ENT for the 3rd time since we've been home. He has some kind of fungus than just won't die and he is really hurting and can't hear from that ear. We are both getting a bit worried since it's gone on so long now.

Can't believe the summer is here already, I realized last night we have already started to double book social plans eeks this weekend, bday pool party, sons of norway bbque, graduation party, next week starts Vacation Bible school, my nephews HS graduation and then weekend, bday party, annual school friends beach bbque and a race on the same day. Wilson is going to be so bummed to miss the beach party...then Molly starts practice for her next play, Music Man. Summer will be over in a blink of the eye.

Anyway, I saw you last at Bingo, and you look a bit down. I hope you was okay. I cannot believe one lady won over 31,000 thousands dollar as she seem calm. If it was me, I go NUTTY!!!

It was lovely to meet you and we saw your friend Heather and her family at the hotel at LA. It was lovely to meet them too.

Got back home and try to get back normal, still tired and I have to go to work tonight.

I'm glad you got to see Heather & family in LA too. Aren't they great?

I have to say that you were one of my favorites to meet because you always had a warm smile, and it was a sincere smile.

No, I never found it. But I applied for a new one a week ago and got it in the mail yesterday. Very fast!

his doctor said it was some kind of water borne or humidity issue, but his ear hurt the first day we got on the ship. He even went to the ship doctor and had it flushed and got anti-botics there too. He has been plaged with ear stuff the last few years I think it's just never quite gone (whatever it is) and it comes back each time worse. The pain is pretty bad. When I find him in bed napping in the afternoon I know it's not a good thing.

Hey PJ. DH and I really enjoyed the Billy Hill and the Hillbilies show at DL. What about you? You and Angie & Dennis really luck out getting the box seating. I was so happy you got chosen.

Hi Pj - I've looked at NCL for this cruise too....but have changed my mind cuz I know 2 different people who went on this cruise and said it was terrible! Service and food were cr ap. I think Holland America does something w/ Hawaii too....I'll look that up and let you know.

Here's my assessment of the NCL Hawaii cruise--
1. It's definitely NOT DCL!
2. For the price (very inexpensive) it was a great way to see the islands.
3. Food, service & wait time to get into any of the free/included restaurants was just OK to awful.
4. Food, service & wait time in the buffet restaurant (like Topsiders) was alright. That's where we ended up going for dinner after 3 trys in the main restaurants.
5. Cabin was fine--not as big as DCL, but for 2 of us, it worked. Plus, my friend had all her dive gear in the room! We got the cheapest inside cabin.
6. Real ice cream! Not soft serve! It was delicious.
7. Many parts of the ship--cabins, dining room(s), etc.-- did not have AC on our trip. Luckily not ours. That would have been horrible! A lot of people were miserable!
8. For less than $500 for the week (apiece) I would do it again IF I could be sure of the AC situation. The food was like going to Denny's so it was edible. I loved being able to go to different islands. Just used the ship as a floating hotel. Didn't think of it as "cruising" in the sense of luxury, but as a convenient way to get from island to island. Got my airfare from the cruise line, after looking on my own. It was cheaper to go through them. Whole trip came to less than $1000 (excluding tips, my own expenses, etc.)
9. Only ship excursions we did were scuba diving trips. Other than that, we rented cars on our own and did our own sightseeing. It was easy to do.

We chatted with Heather and family a few times. We were on a tender together going over to Cabo. Lovely family. Bethany is a sweet friendly girl. They were 'dreamed' on the Tuesday at DL with the mouse ear hats and they gave us one.

No, I never found it. But I applied for a new one a week ago and got it in the mail yesterday. Very fast!

Glad you are set up with your licence. John lost his small penknife he carries everywhere and founds invaluable. Not as important at all, but he could have done with having it quite a few times.

Well, I have a lots of freedom as to when I can take vacation time. Joys of being management. Shannon not so much. I think she only has 3 days vacation left for the rest of the year. So we have to becareful where and when we place it.

And if she gets a new job - well, that will mean no vacation time for her for at least 1 year.

Plus you can put it off a little sometimes. My boss just told me that we are getting an office soon. I still will have to work from home a lot but I will have to go into the office too so I can keep it organized and there is stuff I can only do there
