How crowded was it? What was your longest wait? Was it tolerable or were the crowds horrific? Was is worse at the beginning or end of the week? :disrocks:

Jersey week was great. There were crowds, but no where near summer/spring/Christmas levels. Lines were short and we frequently walked right on to many rides. It was so pleasant we are going back the same week this year. MK did begin to fill up towards the end of the week, especially on Saturday, but epcot and mgm were really great all week.

I honestly feel the whole Jersey Week thing is overblown. We've been there for two of the last three Jersey Weeks (2003 & 2005) and it was not crowded at all (by Disney standards). The biggest effect on that week is the Veteran's Day holiday. During this past year the crowds certainly built as the week as the (Friday) holiday approached. From what I could tell the bigger crowds were more related to Florida residents not folks from the Garden State.

We went down for super soap and the masters (art festival) which fell on Veterans day weekend. We usually go on school break in Feb or April and I had no idea how mobbed it would be that weekend! Friday when we arrived MK was so crowded we did two rides and left.At MGM we had difficulty maneuvering in the crowds and I was pushed down stairs and hurt my ankle. I was already using my cane and ended up spending w/e in a wheelchair. Not fun. We met a lot of soap stars but becuase the lines were ridiculous didnt get to do anything else.I wouldnt go again that weekend but that is just my opinion. I happen to love Easter week and most people hate it. I guess you would have to try it to see for yourself.

We've gone to previous Jersey Weeks, and they are fine. The crowds are definitely tolerable. The more popular rides have longer waits, but nothing longer than 60min. Soarin' might be an execption because that always has a very long wait time. But the FPs never ran out. The weather is great too. It's warm, but not unbearably warm.

Thanks for the replys. We will arrive on Thur of Jersey Week. I figure we'll be at MK for rope drop on Fri and get as much as we can in before it gets nuts. Then on that weekend we will definately avoid MGM because its supersoap weekend. Hopefully by mid Sun. the crowds will thin out and we'll still have Mon, Tue & Wen. Wish us luck!
