Were you able to get your November reservations?

If you have a resort reservation, on the 180th day before your check in date, you can start making your dining reservations. You can book the entire length of your stay up to ten days out. So, if you are staying ten days, on your 180th day, you can book 180 + 10 days of reservations.

Ours opened up a couple of weeks ago and I had problems online. I could see the times for the restaurant that I wanted but every time I clocked on it, a message would say that they system was not working at the moment. I could see the times slipping away. I eventually called and after being on hold for 15 minutes (not bad at all), I got everything I wanted except for Tuto Italia and T-Rex. Those two I had to call directly because of our larger group of 13. Even if the time you want is not available according to the website, that does not mean it is not available at all. The lady on the phone told me that they get extra time slots for people that call in. Even with 13 people, I was able to get the following:

Tusker House (dinner)
Ohana (dinner)
Boma (dinner)
Liberty Tree Tavern (lunch)
50's Prime Time (lunch)
Tepan Edo (dinner)
House of Blues (dinner)
T-Rex (dinner)
Tuto Italila (dinner)

I booked all mine today online 180+10. This is a short 4 day trip and the days we wanted Ohana and the Dessert Party I couldn't get. But online did work for me.

When it came to whether I'd had any issues, I filled it out not for myself, but with all of my fellow DISboard members in mind, stating that I had had issues with making online dining reservations. Not sure if anyone actually pays attention to these, but thought it couldn't hurt!

I did the same except for realz. Haha. MDE dining reservations are just not working for me. I can deal, it's just the FP selections I'm worried about later.

Today was my 180+10 booking window. Was unable to book online as others have mentioned.
Booked everything i wanted on the phone, though! (Took about 25 min on hold before CM picked up)
Even got BOG!

Only reservation I'm a lil dissatisfied with is our CRT- could only get 2:20 ressie. But will keep checking for a better timeslot!

Our dates are Nov 20-29.
Booked the following:
BOG- 6:25 dinner
Tusker House-8:10 breakfast
Chef Mickey's- 7:10 dinner (Thanksgiving)
'Ohana- 6:45 dinner
Coral Reef- 5:45 dinner
CRT- 2:20 lunch
Maya Grill- 7:10 dinner
Boma- 6:40 diinner

Today was our 180 +10 and I couldn't do online either. Called at 6:59 and went through. Took 15 min and our stay is Nov 21-28. Able to get

Tusker House 10:20
H&V: 12:30
Via Napoli: 4:30
Ohana: 5:00
1900 Park Fare: 8:30 Thanksgiving
Cape May 4:00. Thanksgiving Buffet.

Nope. Our trip is November 8-18 and at our 180-day most of our favorites had no availability. That list included: 8-8:30a CP (not for A&E, simply because we like pre-opening breakfasts), dinner at 1900 PF and CM (only times available were ~9:30p), and of course BOG. It's so frustrating because one would think that with 10 days/nights to choose from I'd have been able to get something at one of those places and I've never encountered something like this before.

I know...their should be a new Disney movie, "The Hunt for the Beast"! I check every day at least 5x and still nothing. Had planned it for our first night, when we'll be at MVMCP, but took a Fireworks Dessert party instead, so now I'm looking for BOG on any night of our visit!

wow! Can't believe the difficulty everyone has been hving on the reservations..our window opened up this morning and I got the few that I wanted. Luck, I guess? I wanted BOG and got a Friday night 8pm reservation (for 3) and wanted Ohana for breakfast and a dinner at some point during the week and got both

I'm almost happy with our ADR's for 11/16-11/22. It's taking a lot of checking the system to get what we want but so far we've gotten-
Whispering Canyon 8:10PM
Rose & Crown 7:40PM
'Ohana 5:15PM (this JUST popped up a bit ago )
Via Napoli 7:45PM
Sci Fi 11:30AM (hoping to replace this with BOG)
Kona 5pm
Tusker House 8AM
Yak & Yeti 12PM
The hardest ones to get were Whispering Canyon, 'Ohana and Via Napoli. I still want BOG but I have plenty of time to run across a cancellation.

Keep trying everyone! I played around for a few days and got everything I wanted except for Hoop Dee Doo. I ended up snagging a 7:10 BOG reservation for that night instead so I'm happy!!!

I got all of the reservations I wanted (minus BOG) but not at the exact times. I hate standing at rope drop so we ALWAYS do early morning pre park breakfasts. I was only able to get a 900 AM CRT and Crystal Palace, would have preferred 830. But last time we showed up at 815 (with 830 ressie) at CRT and were sat immediately, so if all else fails we will show up around 830 and hope princesses are fast. We seem to REALLY get lucky and never spend more than 30-45 minutes at a table.

I did book Kona one morning but now after thinking about it I don't think the poly will be itself by then and would prefer to just do Hollywood and Vine, NOTHING! wow. Craziness. But oh well...I have 5 months. I booked everything last minute for our May trip and was able to get every time and place we wanted.

I got up at 5am yesterday and was able to get everything I wanted for the 21=29. I got repark breakfasts and late dinners. I know not everyone likes the late dinners, but they seem to work best for us.

I did it all online though, I don't like calling in.

Just posted this on another thread too. Did everything I'm "supposed" to do and got everything I wanted! Yea!!! Got up at 2:50am (yikes), signed into My Disney Experience, CC# already in system, 3am go! I even got the days/times I wanted, except for Thanksgiving, I got 45 min later than I wanted, but I will keep looking for that one. And if it doesn't come up, it's ok, it still works!

Here's my ADR's in the order I booked:

CRT Sun 11/30 4:15pm (wanted 4:30)(before MVMCP, had my choice of BOG at same time too)

CM Sun 11/30 9:30am (got time I wanted)

Not bad! Was really worried re: party of 12, and was fine. Also, want to thank whoever said to put my CC# online beforehand. Went quick and smooth!!!

Now waiting for Candlelight Dining Packages to be released...
