sorchamac I know how frustrating it is too not be able to get what you want. We are having a similiar problem. Don't give up. I was able to call today and get put a hold on a room that I was looking for on Wednesday and Thursday, plus I found other rooms. I have a GVC room booked at rack rate, and I can't find any code discount for those rooms. I was able to find rooms for GV, LV, and LVC for the same time period with an AP rate. I have rooms for each of those on hold until I figure out what I want to do. Don't give up and call everyday and ask. Also, all deposits are due for code BAT and BAS on September 9, so call back that day also. Have them check day by day each time.

I just found out about the release of the BAT code last night while cruising the DIS boards, after CRO had closed. So I woke up just before 6 am CST, and started dialing a minute before 7 am EST. After a few calls saying the office was closed, I got through right at 7 and to an agent immediately. What luck I thought, I hope I'm on a roll!

Well, I put through our request to apply BAT to 3 rooms BWI Concierge. We already had a 15% AAA discount for $361.25. Our CM said she wasn't sure it would be available and then had trouble getting the computer to show anything. She offered to call me back once the computer shows up anything.

So I fell back asleep on the couch, waiting and waiting for the phone to ring, thinking she surely has forgotten all about us. By 9:30 am EST, 2 1/2 hours later, our CM called back. Glad I wasn't put on hold!

So we got it! It's a small discount, now $345/night but it adds up! It's better than nothing. Plus, we are there from 11/6 to 11/12 over the period where the discount doesn't apply. I guess that's just for checkins on those dates.

So hopefully some of my pixie dust flies your way!

Okay -

I was able to book a new reservation for the Sun-Wed (4 nights) of my 7 day stay. The first night is Sat of Thanksgiving weekend, so I don't expect to get a discount for that. But, if I was able to get a new reservation for Sun-Wed, how come they can't apply the BAT code to my existing reservation if it starts on that Sunday? I thought that if you got a discount for the first night it applied to all the following nights of your stay?

I found these discounts by checking Expedia. That is a great tool - it will tell you exactly which days are available for your particular dates.

I called again today, don't know why. I think it is a habit. But, again asked to try the codes. You know them, EWP, BAT, BAS, and even the postcard pin. Didn't get any. How is that? Four chances and didn't get anything!
Anyway, I asked what happens to rooms that people cancel that got the discount? She said they go back in at the rack rate.
So why do I keep calling? Does anyone know for sure? Do they release more rooms later? Don't desert us that haven't gotten the discount, fellow dis'ers , we need your help!

I just canceled PRC GF at rake rate of $660 a night plus tax. I was able to get Poly GV with EWR. I am checking with them few times a day. There are unfortunatly people who hold on to more than one reservation because they can't make up their mind. imamicki2, I always go end of OCT,beg Nov. 2002 the hotels were booked solid with only a AS room available from the time the codes were released. 5 days before my trip almost every hotel had something available thanks to all those people who had to make up their mind or lose deposit. We were able to switch to Con AKL with an Ap rate. There is still hope.

What? What is that you say, HOPE??? Oh, goody. I will keep trying. At least I have a 800 number now, so it won't cost anything anyway! I will call daily until my trip! I guess you are going the same I am. Have fun!

DH has just come off the phone - got straight through - calling all the way from Bonny Scotland. Have booked 2 nights POFQ, 2 nights WL ( woods view ) and 2 nights AKL ( savannah view ) for total $948 tax included. Saved ourselves a massive $760. Even got a king bed at POFQ i think - DH reported - we've got queen beds at WL/ AKL but a BIG bed at POFQ!!!
Managed to book for MNSSHP for the 8th to boot.

Hi Scotland, good for you! I was able to book BAT with FW cabins, 10/7-10/10 -- that was this morning about 9:30 a.m. I called 877-939-3732, after hitting dead ends yesterday calling the "direct" WDW line. We're going to mnsshp on Oct. 8 as well!

Did you try 877-939-3732? It's WDTC I noticed. Now I'm convinced it's a parallel universe. I had an existing reservation for FW cabins. I was totally shut out of the direct WDW line, no BAT openings, no how, and today I just idly call the number above and this nice guy cheerfully applies the BAT and saves me $325. If you haven't yet, give that number a try.

I originally had a reservation at CSR (Oct 14-21, 2004) for a pool view room. I called the 800 # yesterday about mid-morning & got through immediately with no wait. I was told the only rooms available at CSR were suites for $900 per night. I was then told she could book me in a pool view room at AKL for $10 a night less than I was booked at CSR. I took AKL & was able to get a room that had bunkbeds for the kids, which made them very happy, & I saved $70. It's not much but hey, we're going to Disney!

The CM told me that I should try back in like 3 days and in the am.
Yeah, ok, right, I'll do that.
I'll be on the phone again everyday until my trip. Now it is a challenge, ya know?
