We are staying at Bay Lake Tower in late May and I am looking for a first night dinner spot. We have reservations at Steakhouse 71 and Grand Floridian Cafe. We are thinking of taking the boat over to Fort Wilderness and dining at Trails End but could use some other ideas for good sit down restaurants. I know there are tons in the area but what is your fav?

Thanks!

We usually do a low-key dinner on arrival night. Both of your options are good, but there's something special about that boat ride over to the campgrounds.

I'd do one that doesn't require an ADR, that way if you're hungry early after traveling or get delayed in traveling there is absolutely no stress about the ADR. Geyser Point would be my vote, it's so chill out there.

I too would ride the boat from CR to WL (starts running at 3 PM) and eat at Geyser Point. Very relaxing!
