We're Taking on the Good, Bad and the Ugly

We are in the planning stages for our May 28-June 4th trip.

While there we are celebrating my MIL's first trip (she is 93!), our DD's birthday and our 15th anniversary!

So the players are Me: Koolaidmoms and DP: C&G'sMama. Our two children DD (who will be 11 during the trip) and DS (7 and autistic). My SIL and BIL (both in their late 60's) and my MIL (as I said 93).

For our 15th trip (the first being our honeymoon 15 years ago) we decided to take on some of the things that get really negative reviews on the DIS boards to see for ourselves what we think of them.

So... We are going over a holiday weekend, staying at All-Star movies. We have ADRs for dinner at Chef Mickey's, Crystal Palace, Cape May Cafe', La Hacienda and Mama Melrose. We are having breakfast at CP and leaving one open to try (gasp of horror) a walk-up. How hard is it really? We will find out.

We are making plans to try for CS The Flame Tree BBQ, ABC Commissary, The Movie Food Court and every CS place in Epcot including the Electric Umbrella which we have not been to since 2000 when we had a bad experience.

So between now and when we leave I am sure I will come up with a whole host of things to try from the DIS boards. I can't wait to firm up my itinerary. Yes, I am a list maker!

Wow! This sounds like a very fun trip. It's great that your MIL will get to join in. I love that you're doing all of the negatively reviewed Disney experiences...it will be an adventure, I'm sure. We will be at Disney during that time, as well. Our plans aren't as daring, though. Good luck with all of your planning
