We're late for a very important date May 2013 TR Updated 5/17 New TR started!

Hey Melissa! Sorry I've been away from your TR---but I just got all caught up and it was so much fun to read! Gavin looks like he's having a great time.... even when he's napping! I'm glad that you came back after your little hiatus :) So many awesome things to remember....

Love the shark pictures. They are so fun to take!

So many food pictures! Yummy everywhere!!!!

Awwwwwww! Garden Grill--- he met Mickey! Adorable!!

I love that Finding Nemo pool. It was so crowded when we went though (mid-August) so it was very hard to swim underwater. We kept trying but we kept running into people! You literally had to stay in your own little area. And we still kept getting run into by children! We didn't mind though!

I'm glad I get to read about the rest of this adventure!

Mmmm, that bakery in France is so fun to browse! We haven't had the Napoleon since before the refurb, but hopefully they haven't changed it because it was delicious!!

I'm surprised the festival center was busy. It seemed so quiet when we were there in 2011. But they may have had some classes or demos or something going on, I suppose.

Too bad you had to miss Test Track! Hope Gavin got a decent nap in.

How exciting that you are ready to start a PTR for the next one.

Back to this one....I love the idea of the CS in Japan since the options look good - especially for a teriyaki fan. :) Gavin looks like he was enjoying lunch.

Ahhhh the France bakery. I love that place even more after the remodel since it has so many great options. I know those bathrooms that you referenced. It felt weird that people didn't know they were single bathrooms and I felt like it should have been either a men's or woman's bathroom.

The moment you don't want Gavin to fall asleep he will, right? Isn't that the way it works.

POpping back in! Glad to see some updates! The bathrooms are def lacking in the france pavilion lol. Treats look great, too bad you didn't enjoy them! The raspberry mousse looked SO good!

Your pictures of F&G make me miss that time of year in Epcot. Some of the topararies are really gorgeous. Like the Lion King one in your update! I've never seen the Simba one before! How cool. :goodvibes

Finding a cool spot for the little ones is the hardest thing to do in the parks. I usually ended up in the baby care centers.:rolleyes2 Glad the Festival Center was open and willing to let you bring the stroller inside. :thumbsup2

Yeah, with it that hot out, I think I would have picked pool time over TT any day. :lmao:

Hopefully you can ride Test Track (and Ellen's Energy Adventure, and eat French pastries) next time!

Welcome back!!

I'm glad you ended up liking Brandan's choice for lunch. :thumbsup2 It's always nice when you are pleasantly surprised by a new place to eat or a new activity in WDW!

Pretty F&G pics. I love the one of Brandan & Daniel in WS. :rotfl: Guys just looooove having their picture taken together, don't they?

Wow, looks like I will have to check out the bakery on our next long trip. Everything looks delicious!

I'm glad I gave Japan a chance! I would definitely eat there again. There are just too many yummy options in Epcot...

I definitely need to re-visit the bakery so I can actually eat something from there next time :rotfl2:

Aww thank you so much for coming over and reading my TR Lauren! I am so far behind on yours but will be getting caught up soon!

This trip seems so long ago now because he was so little, it's crazy how much he has grown since this trip! I'm hoping to get some recent pictures of him up soon and finish up this TR too!

I definitely want to try the napoleon sometime! I was surprised the festival center was busy as well. I was expecting a quiet abandoned area!

The CS food in Japan was so good and there were a lot of options on the menu unlike some locations. I definitely cannot wait to return to France to try something next time. Haha it's so true. We spend so much time trying to get him to sleep and he only wants to sleep when we need him to be awake :rotfl2:

Hey thanks for popping back over! I definitely need to go back and get the raspberry mousse again and actually eat it, LOL.

I love F&G time! I think those topiaries should be out all the time. I love that they change every year. Before our trip I was planning on popping into a baby care center to cool off with Gavin but I ended up not going into any of them at all.

Hopefully you can ride Test Track (and Ellen's Energy Adventure, and eat French pastries) next time!

There are so many things on my "next time" list :lmao:

Your little guy is definitely growing and telling him to stop won't help I'm afraid! :rotfl: Cute pics!

You got some great pictures with the characters and I bet that help fill out Gavin's pillowcase nicely.

Love the pics in front of sci-fi, too!

Wow, can't believe how much he's growing up!! It really does happen way too fast.

Great update. I had no idea that characterpalooza existed. Pretty awesome! I'll check out the videos later, when I have a chance.

Nice pictures outside of Sci Fi. Hope you had a good time there!

I know how you feel about not wanting them to grow up so fast - my youngest is about to turn 2 in less than 2 weeks. He was only 13 1/2 months during our trip last April. And my oldest is now 3 1/2. Time flies!

Gavin's expressions when meeting the characters is so cute!

Can't believe how big Gavin has gotten!! Unfortunately, as I have learned, they just keep growing and growing. It's tons of fun watching Paxton learn or experience new things, but it still does make me sad to think of how little he used to be!

Great group of characters for Characterpalooza. :thumbsup2 I think they bring a lot more characters out now that is outside instead of in the animation building. Yep, that's Max Goof, Goofy's son. He's pretty rare outside of Characterpalooza!

We, as I'm sure you can tell, are big fans of Sci-Fi as well. So good! DH is trying to find a way to cram in a meal there in May even though we only have 2 days!

Thank you! I've been looking for the pause button since he was born but have yet to find it!

Characterpalooza was awesome, I wish the characters were out for longer.
We loved Sci Fi, I can't believe we waited so long to eat there.

I'm always saying that I wish I could keep Gavin this little forever. As much as I will always miss him being little each stage is very exciting at the same time.

thanks, it was so fun watching him meet characters! he makes the best faces!

I know exactly what you mean - every new stage with Gavin is just a great as the last but I will always miss him being my super tiny newborn that needed me for everything!

I think it was your TR that I first learned about Characterpalooza so thank you for that. I know we didn't really "meet" that many characters (Pocahantas, Meeko, Jessie, Stich, Penguin) but we tried to go for the rarer ones. Minnie Mouse is not hard to find in any park so I wouldn't have wasted my time there. Her line was the longest!

I can't believe we waited so long to try Sci Fi. I feel like I need to work it into every trip now!

Gavin's such a cutie! Haahah, Characterpalooza sounds... interesting. Yay Sci-Fi!!

Thank you! It was very interesting that's for sure!

Yay on another trip!! I'm getting jealous of all the DIS-ers going in May...

Can't wait to hear about it and see what the older-and-wiser version of Gavin thinks about WDW this time around.

Sometimes, you just need to go back to your happy place. :goodvibes

We'll be there in May, as well! Seems like a lot of DISers are going then. I don't know what your dates are, but if you're going to be there between the 12th and 16th, we'll have to meet up and let our boys meet. :thumbsup2
