We're going where?! A First Time Disney Family Vacation PTR

Since the plans are now finalized I can let you all in on a secret! We really wanted to make
this trip a surprise for Keagan, but I am terrible at keeping them....
Then we were going to have her BBB appointment a surprise, that didn't
stay a secret long....
This secret though has to stay a secret because she isn't the only one it
could be ruined for.

A little back story- We live on the street that Aaron grew up on. His parents
and grandparents also live on the street. Needless to say he has known all
most of our neighbors since he was really little. There is a girl that grew up
with Aaron who's parents and grandparents also live on the street. She has a
son that is a year older than Keagan and they are very best friends. (Or as
they both he's Keagans "boyfriend"...)

Anyways, his grandparents and mother (the girl Aaron grew up with) are
taking Caiden (Keagan's "boyfriend" or as I like to call him her best friend) to
his first Disney trip for part of the time that they are there.

They will get there in the middle of our trip and neither one of them know
they are going to be there at the same time. Cutest part is that they are
going to MNSSHP as Rapunzel (her wedding dress) and Prince Charming (I
know thats not her "prince" but hes blonde and Flynn Ryder wasn't as great of
a fit for him) I tried to get Keagan to get the Cinderella dress instead but she
has had her eye on that Rapunzel (or as she likes to call her "Tangled"
wedding dress since we have decided to go to MNSSHP, ohh, and she just
couldn't get over the bouquet and veil.... )

So they will get to spend lots of time together in the most magical place in the world.
They are both going to be so excited!

The excitement in our house for this trip
builds every.single.day. We can not wait to finally be at Disney!!
We are at the 4 week mark. It seems like we have been planning and
anticipating this trip forever.

I have not done a very good job keeping up with this PTR but I promise
I will do better with the actual TR. Mostly because I want to use it to
document the whole trip.

Anyways, hope you are all doing well!

and one last time..... 28 days?! I can not believe it!!

My friends and I do themed Dinner parties every three months, rotating home. The host of the last Party chooses the theme for the next, suggestion allowed.

So Far we have had:

Sushi Night (make your own tutorial)

Alexander's Empire (think togas, stuffed grape leaves, lamb, etc)

The 50's (lots of great outfit's casseroles, and finger foods)

Classic Nintendo (Stuffed 1up mushrooms, Koopa Soupa <mock turtle soup>, princess Peach Cobbler)

and the Next will be Dr. Who

Only 18 days to we are in Disney world..... I feel
like we have been waiting forever and now its almost like its coming up on us
too fast (if that's possible), its just that I have so many last minute things
to do.

Anyways, we will actually be leaving in 16 days because we are leaving
2 days early to visit and stay with one of my very best friends in Savannah.
Can't wait to see her again!

But that also means two days less of getting everything together....
I am the only one without a costume for MNSSHP now, so I gotta do that.
I haven't even packed anything. Well that's not totally true, two weeks ago I
had to go ahead and bust out Keagan's fall/winter clothes, so when I put up her
Summer clothes I went ahead and pulled out clothes for her for the trip.

So excited, so nervous, a little stressed, a little anxious, a whole lot of
emotions running at the same time.

I just can't wait to finally get there and hope all of my planning works out!!

We are officially at the 2 week mark!! I am freaking out!
All these scenarios keep going through my head, have I planned enough,
did I plan too much, I hope no one gets sick between then and now, just a
million different things. I always freak before a trip, especially one I have
been planning for so long, must be why we never plan trips, we just do
them spontaneously.

As I am sitting here typing there are a million other things I should be doing...
So I guess I'll get back to those.

Wow, so close to your departure day!! Really loved your themed dinners. We took DD for our first trip almost two years ago and we loved it... so much, I convinced DH to take us back 8 months later. I am determined to go back again real soon. Can't wait to read your TR. I love reading about others first time visits.
