The trip was o.k. We've been on better. Have you ever had a crabby vacation? This one was for some reason. We started out bad because dh got stuck at work and we didn't leave town until 7:30pm. Nothing like sitting in the parking lot at dh's work with 2 wound up kids. Anyway, that sort of set the tone and for the first 4 days or so everyone was grumpy. My oldest ds made it very clear over and over and over again that he didn't want to ride on any of the big rides and "we can't make him" (whatever, like we would do that anyway). We didn't stay at the Grand Californian like I had planned. We decided to go less expensive because next year we were planning on taking them to Disney World. Well, now I don't think we are going to spend the $$ on that because my son was such a stinker about everything. Anyway, we stayed at the Howard Johnson which was o.k. It was clean, the pool was nice and the people were friendly. It's hard to really like a place when you compare it to on property or the hotel we stayed at in Hawaii...I know, I'm sounding very spoiled. Then on top of all the crabbiness I got sick the day before we started our drive home. I'm still fighting it, sinus problems and runny nose. At least I'm not achy anymore.
Life is really busy right now so I don't know when I'll get around to posting the pictures. On a good note, I'm doing the flowers for my sisters wedding next weekend. I'll definitely take pictures of that and post them. I'm very excited and a little nervous.
