Pin TRADING has lost it's luster. Pin BUYING is still good. But we don't buy that many pins.
Buying pins to trade was what sucked up so much money, then actually stopping to look at EVERY lanyard in EVERY park and EVERY resort sucked up hours and hours of time. I was looking at the pin site to see if any of the Christmas pins are posted yet, but so far it just looks like Halloween and Thanksgiving.

I always make sure I put my important stuff in my carry-on. If my checked bag ever disappears I will be OK for about 3 days. If they haven't found it by then, someone is going to be very, very sorry.

What gets me is when a new pin comes out and when it's a limited edition, we feel like we gotta have it. Just like the Halloween Pins at MNSHP, they are "cute" and if you are like Jon and love Halloween, you gotta have them and the price is $11.95 per pin. Im sure it will get old soon.....who knows! We'll see in February.....

We will be their in Feb.

And I can't wait to meet you guys! When exactly are yall planning to throw Wally overboard??? Please get it on tape please for those of us that are staying on land....

While it's true that most documented cases of the pINSANITY do fade with time, there have been acute cases where the afflicted individual does not recover and begins to haul pin notebooks to the parks while wearing pin vests and pin hats. It's not pretty.

My advice is to keep an eye on him, and if the pINSANITY gets worse, consult with a professional. A professional bartender, that is, cuz you're gonna need a drink.

Thank you Dr. Rob. There is a professional bartender I know and he is aware of the problem, but you witnessed what he did...

Perhaps a pINTERVENTION is needed.

I'm depressed. Recapping our trip for you guys is making me miss everything.....

Okay....onto the rest of our 1st evening in the World....

MK was packed. EMHs were from 8-11p and folks were all over the place. I noticed lines everywhere for the food spots. Crystal Palace was a mad house when we went by. You could tell everyone was taking advantage of Free Dining....but do folks realize that they are not really getting it for free? I've done the math and it doesn't make sense to me.

Main Street was elbow to elbow traffic so we headed to Tomorrowland.

There was 45 minute wait for Buzz's Ranger Spin, 10 minutes for CoP....no one on TTA and it had been closed so we decided to hop on.

My darling husband....

We both hopped on.

Nothing really changed on this since it's closing back in April. The trains looked like they had been painted and you still go through Space Mtn. The only thing you see in Space Mtn is the ramp that takes the train up to the top. They still have that huge space shuttle thingie with the space men hanging upside down. The lights were on. You can't see any of the rest of the track for they have it closed in.

When we exited, we saw a little bit of Wishies. I got a Cherry Slushie to cool off. We were both wanting soft serve ice cream from Fantasyland so we headed in that direction.

While Wishies was going on, there was no one on the Tea Cups. I have been wanting to try and Jon was too so we got on. I kept telling Jon, okay, let's not spin it! We have never been on Tea Cups before, so hey, we are up for anything new....

You can't go on the Tea Cups without turning that dang wheel.

You promise you will not spin us....

Oh come on now! Just a little spinnin'! Just close your eyes!

Stop it!!!!! Im gonna get sick! Remember, I just had the Cherry Icee Slush thing.....

Ugh!!!

I didn't get sick thank goodness. But Jon was laughing at me the whole entire time and hearing his laugh made it worth the spining and for my vertigo to kick in. Man, was I dizzy! Fantasyland.....gotta love it!

We visited Ms. Pott's Cupboard for Ice Cream! Yay! And I was craving it really bad....

UMMMMM good!

We sat down on the benches over by Dumbo and people watched and we saw Chip and Dale coming from break!

We passed by Small World (20 mintue wait) and Peter Pan (40 minute wait)....Jon was ready to go and visit his 999 freinds in HM....it was only a 10 minute wait.

We love HM! We still can't find the Donald Duck Ghost in there...anyone else know what I am talking about?

It was time to pay tribute to our American Hertiage and visit the Liberty Bell.

By this time, my sugar level was at all time high, so we decided to see the Castle and head on back to BW and call it a night....

I had to use the restroom...

Just kidding...it looks like I am doing my business, doesn't it?

We left MK and took the bus back "home."

While on the bus, I overheard a couple talking about going to the candy store which is on the BW and I decided to stop in to see what else I could find high in sugar....

I did find something sweet...

Miss America 1962, Maria Beale Flecther, the only Miss NC to ever win the Miss America title. She's from Asheville! Sea Shore Sweets is neat place for any Miss America Fan. Jon and I use to volunteer for the Miss America Organization, so it was neat seeing the history of the program being displayed in the store.

One the many things we like about staying at the BW....

The nice strolls at night!

And the magic shows!

Jon stopped by the FD to see if the CM there had any pins...the Girls working there were so sweet and fed to Jon's addiction. Needless to say, they all knew us by name by mid-week.

Not really a "ghost", more of a hidden Donald. Its' woven into the chair that sits on the left hand side of the long hallway with the floating candelabra at the end. Cant find an actual pic of the chair, but oddly enough there is a pin! (I promise I wont tell Jon!)
