And we spent quite a lot of fun time over cocktails trying to teach Jeff the propert pronunciation for that phrase. Scott and I said "Por favor mantengase alejado de las puertas!" so many times that the other people on the monorail with us were starting to look at us funny. But whatever, we're used to that.

And I thank you for the lesson...and I still can't do it. Jon finally told me shut up.....

For some reason I knew that was coming....that's what growing in up in Eastern N. Carolina will do to you. I never hear the end of it.....everyone at work loves it and I just can't help it....first day of college, I hid in my dorm room all day long. My roommate was a yankee and he called home and said, Im living with this guy with a thick Texas accent!!!! I had never been to TX at the time!!!!

I miss F&W already...such a great time! BWV is such a nice place, minus all the construction going on there now, but it was such great place. We walked to DHS and Epcot within minutes....

I love Italian & French accents...and something about a HEAVY New York accent, SLAYS me!

My best freind is from NJ and everytime we go up there, everyone loves to hear me talk. I asked for ice water at a restuarant there one time and the wait person brought back a drink menu to me and said this what they had...she thought I asked for something else.

Any accent but Boston does it for me.

Glad to hear that Gabbie is doing fine. The one thing I hate about traveling is leaving my 2 dogs behind.

My last trip Labor Day weekend, I got a call on day 3 of a 5 day trip from where they were being boarded saying that Dottie Sue hadn't stood in over 24 hours and that someone needed to come pick her up. She turned 15 back in March and has had hip issues for some time now. My vet ended up keeping her at her house the last 2 days and she ended up being fine but I couldn't wait to get home to see about her. I leave for Boston for a 3 day trip this weekend; I think she'll stay home this trip and have friends check on her. I'll board Waldo again; he loves playing with other big dogs at the cage free boarding facility that I use.

Oh it kills me to leave the girls behind. Disney needs a pet freindly resort. That was nice of your Vet to take Dottie Sue back to her house....if you lived near by us, you would have to use my friend Leslie, she is excellent with house and dog sitting. She's really good with Sr. Dogs....

I say Gabbie was pushed!

I am STILL mad at DH about the vouchers we COULD HAVE had in 2008. $300 each if DH would have gone home on our plane and let me bring DS on the next flight. But we were on the way HOME, not on the way to WDW. I wouldn't volunteer to be bumped going TO WDW.

We might have to stay at BWV one of these trips. We toured the model after Welcome Home Wednesday last year and DS really liked it.

It is my goal to show restraint on the pins in December. Just a couple of special ones - MVMCP, maybe a Passholder or a DVC if they have speical ones. I also need to see if they have the Disney Visa pin I missed in August. I didn't pay close enough attention and ended up with 2 of the same instead of one of each.

My laptop is staying home in December. I think.

I could have toughed it out....I have friends from college living in Charlotte and I could have mad last minute lunch plans and gotten some free airfare for next time.....I kind of regret it now....

You will like the BWV when it's done with the refurbishing....the staff there is so nice ....we will be back there again. The location is awesome and you will read and see why soon....

My God! I have so many pics and so many notes.....gees!!!

OKAY!

We left DTD and headed back to BW. 3 hours had past and it was time for our luggage to be in our room. We walked in and Jon's suitcase arrived, but not mine. My sneakers were in my bag and was dying to put them on. My dressy flip flops were killin my feet! Plus I need take some meds for my sinuses. All my pills were in my bag...LOL!

So I freaked out....Jon said it will be here soon and there was no need to have a hissy. It had been more than 3 hours and it just scared me! We checked with the Bell stand, it was just around the corner from us so we walked over. There was a nice guy named Stephen who listened to my concern. Stephen said it should have been with Jon's bag. Then, all I could think about was that scene from "Meet the Parents." LOL!

Jon said just wait, it will show up. Stephen said it could have just been placed in another pile when DME was sorting out bags. While we were talking to Stephen, another CM mentioned there was another load of bags that just arrived to deliver. My bag was with that load. So, I picked up my stomach off the floor and we went to Epcot to catch the monorail for the MK. Stephen said for us to go on and he would take my bag to our room.

So we walked over to International Gateway so we could sneak peak at Food and Wine and head over to the front of Epcot for a monorail ride. I was ready to hear my annoucement......

But first, there was a hurdle to cross.

He just wanted to peak at the limited releases....whatever!

Then up the ramp to the loading station...

Saw this tee shirt that a cute redneck fellow North Carolinain who was a firefighter in a town near my hometown in Eastern NC.....

Finally, I heard those magical words....

"Please stand clear of the doors....." Rob, how do you say it in Spainish again? say it again??? again? what? say it...allyhoyya????

We were on the monorail....yeehaw!

And it was so dang hot....wheww!!!! And Jon got a text that it was getting down in the 40's back in Asheville....

"Please put away your phone and look me so I can take your picture..."

We got to the Magic Kingdom Monorail Station! Yay!!!! And it was packed! Everyone was heading for EMHs from 8-11pm.

It was neat seeing the MK decorated for Halloween. We had our MNSHP tickets for Tuesday evening....we were getting excited!

That too...it is thin! But it's cool right now in Asheville.....57 degrees, tomorrow's high is going to be 64!!!! I love the fall!

Pin TRADING has lost it's luster. Pin BUYING is still good. But we don't buy that many pins.
Buying pins to trade was what sucked up so much money, then actually stopping to look at EVERY lanyard in EVERY park and EVERY resort sucked up hours and hours of time. I was looking at the pin site to see if any of the Christmas pins are posted yet, but so far it just looks like Halloween and Thanksgiving.

I always make sure I put my important stuff in my carry-on. If my checked bag ever disappears I will be OK for about 3 days. If they haven't found it by then, someone is going to be very, very sorry.

While it's true that most documented cases of the pINSANITY do fade with time, there have been acute cases where the afflicted individual does not recover and begins to haul pin notebooks to the parks while wearing pin vests and pin hats. It's not pretty.

My advice is to keep an eye on him, and if the pINSANITY gets worse, consult with a professional. A professional bartender, that is, cuz you're gonna need a drink.
