Hello again, eveyone!
Hubby and I are back from #19 on the Wonder, and it was AWESOME...the best way I can imagine to have spent our 10th anniversary.
I had set hubby up for a great surprise and ordered a custom basket from Shirley at Perfect Gift. Her work is definitely as great as everyone has said! She did a neat Chicago Bears theme, right down to a "playing field" in the basket. We took photos that I will post with my next update on my website. Tony was SO surprised!!
As for the cruise itself, it was a blast! The Disney Cruise Line crew is the best, from shoreside to the ships. They made sure that our anniversary was a magical memory that we'll never forget.
I'll be posting a full trip report soon, but overall let me just say that it was a great trip, as usual. The weather was threatening in Nassau, but hubby & I brought our usual pixie dust and it burned off to let the sun shine thru for the 19th straight time on Castaway Cay. We spent lots of time in the spa, as always, and did old favorites like the 70s party, as well as new favorites like the "Draw Mickey" class, which we learned about on our last cruise. We also met our "twins," a couple who have sailed Disney 13 times (like us, they are not from FL)...a bit less than us, but I still think they qualify for the Platinum Castaway Club. We discovered we're so similar that they, too, LOVE being aft. Their favorite stateroom, 6654, is practically right above my beloved 5650. I'll be posting a photo of all of us with Captain Henry and Cruise Director Rick at the Castaway Club party. We also met some DISers and heard rumor of others (via our dinner tablemates) who we didn't catch up with.
Well, I have to catch up with my email, but lots of updates are coming SOON (hopefully this weekend).
