We're back from filming the DVC commercial

I'm retired, never up that early, and don't have tivo. Hope someone grabs it and puts it up on YouTube -- or it makes it to an evening slot sometime, with some warning.

I finally saw it! Loved it! Palval, your family is beautiful and you did an amazing job with it. Its no wonder they picked you for the commercial!

I just watched the show and it was so touching that I had to "compose" myself!! My family and I love Disney and it was so touching to watch three generations share such a wonderful moment. :lovestruc

I have to say that I think I enjoyed your segment the most and not because "we know you" but it truely represented what I personally think DVC is all about. Thank you for sharing this with us all!!! :thumbsup2

I'm still trying to find it on Comcast....ugh!!!:sad2: Would LOVE to DVR it to enjoy with Hubby this weekend....I'll keep searching!!

We watched the program last night, after taping it earlier in the day. We enjoyed it! We loved the whole approach about showing the generations, and the diversity of experiences that are possible. I think they did a credible job in portraying what many of us bought into DVC for. All of the families were beautiful and did a wonderful job. Thanks for sharing your experience with us!!!

I was so bummed! It was supposed to be on and even the Direct TV schedule listed it as being on, but it was some infomercial on instead! I haven't been able to get it any of the times it was listed.:confused3

I couldn't have said it better. Wonderful job, PalVal! I was truly moved. Your segment was by far the very best!

Couldn't sleep this morning up before 5 and saw your segment on TV. Loved it, loved it. It resonates so stong for me as we have taken our DD and DS since they were young. We bought DVC in 2003 a couple years before both of our kids got married. We have had so many wonderful memories already. Last summer we had a GV at SSR. The trip included DH, DS, DDIL, DGS 8m, DD,DSIL DGS 2, and my Dad and stepmom who live in FL and had not met my grandsons yet. IT was magic! I was just talking to my dad last night and he was still saying what a great time it was. We were there again at the BWV in May same cast DGS's 3 and 18M but an addition, our 3m old DGD. DH and I will be at SSR in 54 days just the 2 of us but are planning another family vacation in July. We were also able to stay in a THV last Nov. with my brother's family. DVC has allowed us to treat everyone in our family with memories of Disney. We have had as many as 14 in our group but the best memories are with our grandchildren! Our grown kids also love Disney- DS and DDIL have also joined DVC.

Thank you disboard friends! I'm so happy you liked it. I saw it for the first time this morning after my return from Greece. My heart was racing because I didn't want to look like a fool! I am so proud of my family and how they did. My daughter was about to cry when she was interviewed (about how she appreciated what we have done for them), so it looks like she is a sad person... She is just the opposite - but the filming of her in the parks with the family reflects her true personality. She had the orange dress on. We laughed about it - saying I looked like the smiling cat from Alice in Wonderland during my interview and she looks like she is about to cry! Of course the shots of my grandchildren just melted me into a million pieces.

It's been fun sharing our story with you all, and I've felt so connected to you all throughout this process - thank you.

I won't be able to respond to you all for another week, because I leave for Disney tomorrow to attend the "Brand Loyalty" program at the Disney Institute. I'm excited to see what I can learn and bring back to my place of employment. I attended the Quality Service Program about 10 years ago and it was amazing.

Val--your segment was the most touching. Maybe it was because we followed your story. As soon as they got into the watch story, I remembered you telling it. You told it better than the TV showed. Maybe I wouldn't have been as touched if we hadn't heard all the back stories. I recognized the table from Chef Mickey's and that picture. I wasn't as connected to the other families.

Great job and congratulations.

It took me a few minutes to find the channel this morning and I just found it right before your segment. Very well done. I agree also, you did a great job telling us all about it.

Again, you have a beautiful family and thank you for sharing it with us.

I want to watch it too. I tried locate TV.com with just Disney Vacation Club, and got nothing.
Our cable provider is SureWest.
Can anyone (especially in KC area) help me out with times and title of progam please?
Sammie, what did you type in when you searched locateTV.com?

OK PalVal, you went to Africa, just got back from Greece, and are leaving tomorrow to go back to Disney for training through Disney Institute!!!!
I WANT YOUR LIFE.

Seriously, I really do.

You and your family are beautiful. You are blessed.

Carol Ann has a link provided, I just googled Disney Storybook Vacations then when I got to locateTV.com I put in my address and it showed me the listings for my area.

I watched it this morning on Lifetime.
