We're back from filming the DVC commercial

It's called Disney's Storybook Vacations. Although it sounds like it isn't showing up on some people's listings as that - it's just "Paid Programming". It shows on my list that it's suppose to be on right now again on the Travel Channel, but it's actually that infomercial with the kids doing those crazy complicated math problems in their heads.

That is what I saw when I turned on the Travel Channel this morning!!! Was really bummed I couldn't watch it...

I'm using Direct-tv, so mine just says "paid programmng" maybe if someone can actually tell when it's going to be on they will post so we can all watch

I just set my DVR for Thurs 9/16, 4 am (ET) on TLC. My tv actually shows "Disney Storybook Vacations" on the list for that time. Some of the others were listed as paid programming.

I went to Thursday Sept. 16th at 4am on TLC on my Verizon FiOS TV Channel Guide and set it to record. It just said Paid Sponsorship Programming. I wonder why it doesn't say Disney Storybook Vacations like yours said. :confused3

Mine taped this morning on TV Land. I loved your story. I dream of that with my 4 boys when they grow up with their families. I just need a lot more points!:rotfl:Your family is beautiful and how blessed you were to have that magical time!

Hello all,
I'm in Greece right now on Business, and have not been able to see the program yet. I hope you all enjoy it and can't wait to get home to see it. Please let me know what you think! It was such a positive experience for my entire family.

I found it on 9/16 on TLC as noted above, BUT it's at 5:00 am here instead of 3:00 am. It's listed as Disney Storybook Vacations, so hopefully this will do it for me! (thewesterberg mentioned that their guide said one thing, but recorded something different... If it doesn't work, I'll just keep recording subsequent days until I get it!)

I did manage to catch it on TVLand. Going off of others posting of the times, I recorded what they listed as "paid programming". There were 3 in a row so I hit them all, and one of them was the DVC show. Very nicely done.

Just watched it after it taped this morning. Your segment brought tears to my eyes, talking about your grandchildren and the special moments with Mickey and Cinderella. Thanks for sharing your experience! :yay:

YAY!! I finally saw it this morning!! It was AMAZING! :cool1: DVC members are the best :) So glad to be a part of the DVC family!!

Hooray recorded it at 4am on TLC & just watched it :cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:

I must say Val ,and not just because you are a DIS'er, but I truly enjoyed the segment with you and your family most of all :thumbsup2 Your family's love for each other :grouphug: & Disney was so evident & when you presented your Cinderella watch to your grand daughter that was such a beautiful, priceless moment !!

May you all be blessed with many, many more DVC adventures in the years to come !
:goodvibes

Mine is set to record at 3am tonight. I can't wait to see it!!!! :cool1:

We just saw it, and as usual we just put our critical faculties "on hold" and ENJOYED it! That's what Disney is all about, isn't it?

PalVal....your family was the star of the show! Several of the segments you thought they wouldn't use (e.g., the ring presentation) were used and were spectacular. Hope you enjoy it when you get home!

So disappointed! I set my DVR and it was titled Disney Storybook Vacations and instead it taped an infomercial. I set it to record 4 more shows, hopefully one of them will be the right one. I have to say though, I don't understand why the spot is running in the middle of the night :confused3 Who is up watching tv at that hour that is likely to purchase a timeshare....let alone a Disney one?

idk :confused3 good question, those who work a night shift &

get home around that time or those getting up very early to go to work ?

maybe they feel these weary folks would be drawn to idea of beautiful

vacation destinations to enjoy with family.

Check out the link in podsnel's post above; there are times it will

air later in the morning this weekend on CNBC & others.

Hope you get to see it soon :goodvibes
