Piglet Problems: Where is that Pig!?
Us Wenches had worked-up quite an appetite after drooling over Captain Jack for quite some time!

We had dinner reservations at the Crystal Palace and it was the first time I had ever been there! My Mom had been there back in the 70's when she remembered it being cafeteria style. I heard it was the best buffet at WDW, so I was eager to check it out for myself.
This also meant dinner with Pooh and the Gang! Now, I have never been a big fan of Pooh, eventhough I did watch "Pooh's Corner" as a child. I always liked Tigger, but was not too fond of the rest of them. The last time I saw Pooh was back when I was four and he still had a honey pot on his head and walked around the Magic Kingdom. I was kinda looking forward to seeing the new Pooh Crew and meeting Piglet & Eeyore for the first time!
We got seated to the right, as soon as you enter the restaurant, up in the corner. We had great a great table because we weren't crowded by the large groups of people. The restuarant was crazy with large groups there! We could barely make our way over to the buffet. The buffet wasn't crowded, but the people around the center of the seating area had no concern for others around them at all!
I was pretty pleased with the buffet and there were many items for me to choose from. My rule is to always fill-up two plates because I don't like having to make a second trip back there so quickly. Our favorite item was the cornbread mush stuff, you can see on the right plate. It was very yummy, but I have no idea what it was called.
We saw Pooh & Piglet enter our side of the restaurant and we were the fourth table in line for the characters to meet on this side of the restaurant, so we had to be ready! This was also the first time my Mom had met Pooh, since his new make-over! He looks to much better now and without that ugly honey pot on his head!
Pooh before the much needed make-over!
This will also be the first time you see Mickey in the Trippie!

I know, I know, I have kinda left him out so far. Of course, Mickey goes on every trip with me and there was no way he'd be missing this Pirate Party! I even went out and bought him another pirate costume for the party! When I told Chip 'n Dale that I heard that "Big Chip 'n Dale" would not be attending the Pirate & Princess Party, they said there is no way they would go! You know how demanding my Boys are!

Don't worry, I brought them plenty of candies and goodies home, so they were happy about their decision not to go and get free candy out of the deal. That just meant more quality time for little Mickey & me! We were both feeling the pirate spirit!
Well, here is where the problem began! We saw Piglet going the wrong way on his table route because he was being attacked by the mobs of rude large group tables! The next thing our section realizes is...Piglet has left the building! There was no pig in sight! By this time, Eeyore & Tigger had entered our side of the restaurant.
My Mom was thrilled to meet Eeyore! She told him that she has never seen him at Disney World before and Eeyore was so happy she finally got to meet him!
I gotta say that Eeyore was pretty cute and we couldn't help, but say, "Awwww...don't look so sad!"
It was time for dessert, so I made my way back up to the dessert counter area of the buffet and they had a great selection! They had red velvet cake, which is my favorite and they even had tiramisu!
Okay, so I went a little heavy on the desserts, but when in Walt Disney World...

They also had carrot cake and key lime pie! These are all my favorite cakes and pies, so I had to try each one! It is only fair!
That's right! They had ice cream too! Did you notice I also follow that two plate rule for the desserts?
Tigger has made it over to our section and he was the last character! I knew it was not looking good for me to ever meet Piglet! The characters all make their rounds and this took over a hour and that's not including the little parade that they do at the end. Then, they all leave and don't come back for a few minutes. The two tables next to us with young children were asking where Piglet was too and a little boy at a table with his Mom behind us.
We did get to meet Tigger and I was thrilled about that! There was a cute little boy in a Tigger costume at a table near us and him and Tigger spent a good five minutes jumping around! It was adorable!
We had already gotten our check by the point and paid the bill, no Piglet! The two families at the tables next to us had already left without meeting him and we informed our waiter about it too. He just kinda laughed it off and I decided to take matters into my own hands. I went and found the Character Handlers, who were busy not doing their jobs and told them Piglet had skipped our entire section, we paid the bill already, families have left dinner, etc, etc. All I got was a, "Oh, he'll be there. Give him 20 minutes." Were they just not listening to me!? He skipped us! We paid the bill, we are done eating, the parade with all the characters has already occured!
I walked back over to the table irritated because they said nothing helpful and I could hear the Mom and her little boy complaing behind us to their waiter about Piglet not coming around to our section. I then stopped the waiter and told him we were having the same issue. The waiter took off over to the Character Handlers and I guess he told them the issue as well. The waiter returned to say that Piglet was making his rounds and would be here in about 15 minutes. I went on to explain that he had skipped us to begin with because Pooh meets everyone first and he is followed by Piglet. Piglet never came over here and we've been done eating for 15 minutes already. He then went on to tell me that Piglet is first, blah, blah, blah. I was pretty sure I was right and he was wrong because I had seen how this happened just a hour ago when we were skipped.
I did not want to see Pooh again! Why should we have to wait for the second round of character meet and greets!? I just wanted to see Piglet and we have been sitting here with no food and a paid bill for 20 minutes. I was busy giving "the look" over at the Character Handlers, who were not helpful at all. Then, sure enough, here comes Pooh strolling into our side of the restuarant to begin the character meet process all over again! I knew I was right! I then glanced over to the waiter, who I knew had given me wrong information and got up from the table. I said, "forget this!" and my Mom and I walked away irritated. The poor little boy and his Mom had been sitting there done with their meal for over 20 minutes and still hadn't met Piglet!
On our way out I looked over to the other side of the restaurant and saw Piglet still over there, way in the back! It would have been another 15 minutes before he arrived to our side and who knows, he could have skipped us again! So, we saw no Piglet and my Mom and I have still not met Piglet to this day!
Yes, that is my sad ending to this story.
