Wenches Party with the Pirates! Yo Ho, Yo Ho, a pirate named Jack Sparrow for me!

Okay I'm hooked -- I can't wait to read more! I love your house (and I thought I had a lot of Disney in my house), I have nothing compared to you.

Great trip report & pics! I love your house, how cool to move to FL and then get a job at Disney!! I don't have a Disney house but I do have a Disney room, well I call it my Mickey room because it's mainly decorated with Mickey Mouse. Whenever people come over they want to see it so they can see what I've added. It's actually our guest room so when we have visitors they love staying in there.::MickeyMo

Looking forward to hearing more of your report!popcorn::

I hope your husband has a safe flight back up north and that those phone people come soon for ya.

I cant believe you have only been to Animal Kingdom twice! More excuses to head over there lol. I never really liked AK too much but after my last trip spending some real quality time there I love it. The detail is just amazing.

Oh and when you start working at the parks can you believe how many dis'ers you are going to meet? You are gonna be quite the celebrity lol. :cool2:

Hope you have a great weekend and I cant wait to read more of your trippie!

Lindsey, I was pleasantly surprised this morning that you had started a new TR!:yay: I must admit, im a little jealous of all of your disney decorations-- SO CUTE!

Have you ever been on the "come trade with us" thread.... people trade a lot of disney stuff among one another... stuff they have gotten tired of or dont have a need for for things they use. It helps keep the disney collections alive.

Heres the thread if you are interested..

I cant wait to hear all about your trip!

Lindsey, I LOVE your house! Your decorations are lovely, just perfect :goodvibes I have to say my favorite is the DFTW memorobilia collection! I definitely need to get one of those!

I hope you and your DH had a wonderful Valentine's Day! It sure looks like you did. DF and I are staying at the GF for our disneymoon, so we have 2 ADRs for GF cafe. It looks so yummy! DF and I both LOVE fondue, especially dark chocolate.

I cannot wait to hear more of your TR! I am also eagerly waiting to see if you end up being a CM. I know I've said it before, but you'll make the best CM ever! You have to keep me posted :flower3:

I really want to stay at one of the resorts for a couple nights to celebrate our first anniversary! I'm talking DH into it, well, I'm doing it anyway, but he does have to come along! :rotfl2: I'm trying to decide where to stay, I've narrowed it down to four choices, Grand Floridian, Contemporary, Boardwalk Inn, or Animal Kingdom Lodge. It's such a tough decision!

You will love the GF Cafe! I was pretty impressed! Oh, and I just wrote in my little note about my plans to be a CM! I still don't know what I want to do! There are just so many choices! I think it would be wonderful to work in the parks too and be around all the action at all times! It wouldn't be great in the heat of the summer, but the rest of the time, the weather is perfect! Either way, I will be happy and have my dream come true of working at the Happiest Place on Earth!

Hey Lindsey - just wanted to say love the TR, love the house, love the pictures. I think you may have gotten a haircut as well and a darker color? It looks really good. AND I love your jeans in those last pictures at Winter Summerland.

Hope all is well, and I cannot WAIT to read more!!!! Thanks for sharing all this with us!

Thanks so much! Yup, I did take a total of probably close to 6 inches off my hair and it's still long! I also went back to coloring it close to my natural color for the first time in 8 years! I changed it because I was leaving my hair stylist when we moved and I trust very few people with my hair! ;)

Miniature golf! :woohoo: Another thing to add to my Disneymoon checklist of things to do. I can't thank you enough for your great trip reports. I'm getting ideas of things to do and see and eat (;) ) that I never would have thought of before. You should look into a job of the travel agent sorts...some kind of vacation planner. :)

That's funny you say that because I was looking into being a Disney Travel Agent too! :goodvibes I've always been a planner and love it! I get to work for free here on The DIS! :rotfl2:

Okay I'm hooked -- I can't wait to read more! I love your house (and I thought I had a lot of Disney in my house), I have nothing compared to you.

Our master bedroom and bathroom are the Mickey rooms and we actually made the guest bedroom into the Disney Princess room! princess: We've got little Mickey touches all over, but those two rooms are totally decked out!

The time has come! Through the gates!

n25002324_31686311_7665.jpg

Arrrrr! The Wenches arrived just in time to be the last people welcomed aboard on the boat over to the Magic Kingdom! We made it just before the gate was closed and were welcomed by the Captain. The sea was calm and the weather was beautiful! There was the smell of adventure in the air!

The Magic Kingdom was decorated for the event and it was beautiful! I loved this sign outside the front gate with items that represented each Disney Princess! princess:

Red velvet and red carpets were on display everywhere for the arrival of the royal Princess and for us Wenches too! We made our entrance and were handed small black velvet bags to collect our loot, pearls and treasures! We walked across the red carpert, through the fog, and the twinkling trees to the Magic Kingdom!

We were greeted by the Family Fun Day Parade! We quickly spotted two of our favorite shipmates! It was so good to see those Boys again! :hyper2:

Ah, I really thought I was going to see more in the post....so yup the anticipation is killing me:goodvibes . Looking forward to seeing more popcorn::

Hi all!

I've still got house stuff to do though, gutter issues and getting a phone line put-in. I gotta be home for those people when they FINALLY decide to show up to do their job! Can you tell I'm irritated with dealing with these people!? :headache:

Hi Lindsey!
I guess I should have warned you about the Florida time change. :rotfl: Nothing ever gets done quickly. I lived there for 4 years and that was the one thing that I couldn't adjust to. Being from MA I am used to rushing around, everything is done ASAP - but not in FL. Abd be sure that you are there whenever you have work done so that it is done correctly. When we had our house built (in FL) the construction guys were drilling the hole for the dining room light about 2 feet from the window/wall instead of in the middle of the ceiling. What were they thinking??? I got that stopped immediately!:rotfl2:

I'm glad you had a sweet Valentine's Day:love: . As you heard we were home and getting iced up. But all's well now.

What if you get a WDW job and have to work on Oct 5th?? What will happen to our DIS meet?

Have a great weekend relaxing:happytv: !

Just curious - do you have APs or FL resident passes? Do you have to pay for parking each time?

Oh no I hope you wont have to work that day. You will have to tell them that you cant work that day because your family (your extended dis family) is comming to visit! lol

Ohh and the anticipation is KILLING me!!!! lol Cant wait for more!

Well, DH landed safely in Providence, but without any luggage! It got lost and he left Florida in a pair of sandals! :rotfl2: Not good, not good at all! AK is not my favorite either, mainly, because I have only been there in the heat of the summer and when it's crowded! I'm really hoping to make it over there when the weather is cooler and when it's not packed with the summer crowds. Then, I'll really be able to enjoy it! I'm ready to go back on EVEREST! :scared1:

Thank you so much! Hi! :wave2: Wow, Scotland! You still seem to make it down here quite often to live so far away. That's great! Your boys will love the breakfast with Stitch and so will you! The food is fantastic! Yummy! Enjoy the pineapple bread! ;)

Ah, I really thought I was going to see more in the post....so yup the anticipation is killing me:goodvibes . Looking forward to seeing more popcorn::

Well, good things come to those who wait! :wizard: Don't worry! I'll be posting more later today! I PROMISE! ;)

Lesley:surfweb:

I didn't know you lived in Florida! It sounds like the same people have been working for us down here! :rotfl2: At the moment, we have gutters and no downspouts! Um, how do you forget those!? They won't be out until Tuesday to finish the installment. Irritating...:headache:

DH will be in MA all next week! You should hunt him down and find him! Wouldn't that be funny!? :rotfl2: He's in good 'ol Woonsocket, RI right now. I don't think I'm missing much...

I will be sure to have October 5 off and most likey the day after too. I gotta recuperate after all the heavy DIS partying! :lmao:

Oh, and I don't have any WDW passes of any kind at the moment. I've only been over to the property and my Mom and I bought tickets to the Pirate & Princess Party. I'm waiting until I become a CM, so I don't have to pay for any of that! That's why I gotta get over to the Casing center soon because I am dying to get over to the theme parks!

We did just purchase FL resident Preferred Annual Passes for Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure. Parking is free with those and 10%-15% off of everything! It's a pretty sweet deal! :thumbsup2

well it certainly is killing my grades!! haha, instead of doing projects, i'm on the disboards....ahhhhhhh

Oh no! You better get back to work! :rotfl2: I am so glad those days are over and luckily I wasn't addicted to The DIS at the time. That wouldn't have been a pretty sight! :lmao:

I can't wait to come and find you at Disney World. My youngest ds will want to find you too, he says anyone who has a squirt and stitch is his buddy. Your home is totally wicked my older ds says. He wants all of our house to be disney! Can't wait to see more!

HAHAHHAHAHA......THE 'EASY BUTTON'!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

My DH works for Staples Inc, you know! ;) We've got Staples stuff everywhere! It pays the bills! :goodvibes He'll be at the corporate offices in MA this week. My DH's favorite saying is, "That was easy!" :rotfl2: Staples brought us to Florida! Gotta love that Easy button! It really works!
