what a fun V-Day!!!
I really should check out that wintersummerland golf course..what great theming!! I love the pic of you looking up the chimney, i would TOTALLY do that! :)

Awww what a cute Valentines Day you had. Wish mine was better. 6" of snow and ice up here so my DBF and I didn't get to celebrate. Oh well. Thanks for letting me live vicariously through yours!

Its funny that I've played once at WinterSummerland and I did the Winter course too. My friend Kimberly played there before and she did the Winter course as well. I wonder if anyone plays on the Summer course?! :confused3 :rotfl:

What a great Valentine's Day!! You have made me really want to hit up the miniature golf course next time I go to Disney, it looks so cute.

I love the way you've decorated your house and the colors you chose for paint!

Looking forward to hearing more and seeing more pictures of everything, now that you are living so close you have to give us each our taste of Disney until we can get there again

I chose the Winter course, but we are definitley going back to try the summer too. Ones pretty much with snow and the others with sand. It didn't look like a huge difference to me. We asked the CM, which one was the best and he said most people choose the Winter and he likes that one better too. If you golf again on the same day or the next day you get 50% off, so if the rain holds off, we may go back today, so we can use that discount! :thumbsup2

Awwwww your valentine's day looked a whole lot better than us upper east coasters thats for sure! Snow and sleet and frrezing yuckiness outside...i cooked a nice quiet meal at home because going out just seemed silly!

I love your house as well, i can only get DH to go for re-doing the bathroom in all Mickey (I love my bathroom now) but the little things here and there are all i'm getting away with (so far!).

Great TR!!!!:thumbsup2

DW and I played the summer course. We see snow 10 out of 12 months of the year so we didn't want to see anymore snow!!!!

To put it in perspective though we only really have snow on the ground for 6 or 7 months of the year but the other 3 or 4 months that we see the snow it is more like rain and doesn't stay on the ground. Tough to explain but I didn't want to give anyone the wrong idea. :thumbsup2

I have that same chandelier in my dining room! It's quite a surprise to everyone when the finally notice the Mickey silhouette in the middle. :)

I played the Fantasia Garden's Mini Golf course a couple of times during my Spring Break trip in 01 and had lots of fun...I will have to try the Blizzard Beach one soon.

DH is on his way up north this weekend to Rhode Island and Connecticut for the rest of the week for work. I hope the weather isn't too awful. I'm worried about him flying up there and then driving around. I can't even imagine how cold it is and I am hoping the weather gets better for him.

I've gotten away with a lot of Disney stuff...finally! DH has warmed up to the idea and he is loving it now that he lives here! He knows he has no choice with me and Disney! I always tell him that Mickey has been a part of my life for a long and nothing can take his place! :rotfl2:

I have that same chandelier in my dining room! It's quite a surprise to everyone when the finally notice the Mickey silhouette in the middle. :)

That's why I love it too! Unless, you really look at it, you have no idea it's Mickey! I have a lot of "hidden Mickeys" in the house! I just love it! :goodvibes

The bread was so good! I had three pieces! :goodvibes Yeah, we had to order more! :rotfl: I can't believe all this awful winter weather! It is cold and rainy here in Florida and DH is on his way up north. He's going up to visit family this weekend and I have no idea why, when he just moved to the sunshine state! I know I'd be waiting until this horrible winter weather is over. I just hope it's safe enough for him to travel.

Here's my shout-out to you, Lindsey :wave2: It was fun to meet you at the Poly! I have to say you are very pretty in your pictures, but you are prettier in real life :)

Awwww...that is the sweetest and most kindest thing anyone has ever said to me! :goodvibes Thank you so very much! :) I was so glad you saw me and I was able to meet you! It just makes going to WDW all the more fun for us DIS'ers! Did you make it to one of the P&P Party by any chance?

You're too sweet! :goodvibes I'll have to tell DH you said that, it'll make him happy! :yay: I'm so glad I can give you that Disney fix! I know how it is when you need it! We'll be getting a total DIS fix in October! :woohoo: All the Miniature Golf Courses are great! I am so glad I finally got to actually enjoy them. It just never seemed possible during our quick vacations to WDW. It's definitely worth using the 50% off deal too! If you go to the Fantasia one at night during Fantasmic, you can actually hear the entire performance at the golf course! We even saw Mickey through the trees when we were driving down the road! We had the windows rolled down and were singing along! I went nuts when I saw Mickey and then the fireworks! :hyper:

Hi all!

Just wanted to say hello! I hope eveyone is staying warm! It's is freeing here and is actually going to freeze tonight! Where is that Florida weather!? We went to Islands of Adventure today and it is not so much fun when you can't feel your fingers or legs! I'll be back updating tomorrow!

DH is on his way up North tomorrow. His planes leaves around 10:00am and I'll have the house to myself for a whole week! I'm looking forward to sitting back and relaxing. It'll be the first time I get to do that in months! I've still got house stuff to do though, gutter issues and getting a phone line put-in. I gotta be home for those people when they FINALLY decide to show up to do their job! Can you tell I'm irritated with dealing with these people!? :headache:

Anyway, this also means I can get back on The DIS and spend more time on here catching-up, writing my Trippie, and finally answering all my PM's!

I'm really ready to get over to WDW though. After our two day trips to Universal, I miss it like crazy! I really want to get back over to Animal Kingdom! I've still only been their twice! Can you believe that!?

DH will actually end up being out of town atleast every other week or more! He will be gone almost the entire month of March, which means ends up to me to pretty much control and take care of everything here in Florida...the house, bills, cleaning, the works! He'll be eating free and living in hotels!

I've been typing for much too long, but I felt like sharing! :goodvibes Hope you all don't mind! I am really excited about working at WDW because I can tell you all where I am and you can come visit me whenever you are on vacation here! How much fun would that be!? Plus, depending on what I do, if I can hook-up one of my DIS'ers, I sure will! ;) I'm getting so excited just thinking about it! It would just make the job even more fun for me! :yay:

I hope you all have a wonderful weeked! I'll be back posting tomorrow!

Oh, and DH and I did go back over to Winter Summerland and played the Summer Course using the 50% off deal! :goodvibes Here are some of the pictures I took! Thought you may like to see them!

Hey Lindsey - just wanted to say love the TR, love the house, love the pictures. I think you may have gotten a haircut as well and a darker color? It looks really good. AND I love your jeans in those last pictures at Winter Summerland.

Hope all is well, and I cannot WAIT to read more!!!! Thanks for sharing all this with us!

Miniature golf! :woohoo: Another thing to add to my Disneymoon checklist of things to do. I can't thank you enough for your great trip reports. I'm getting ideas of things to do and see and eat (;) ) that I never would have thought of before. You should look into a job of the travel agent sorts...some kind of vacation planner. :)
