Sad as I am to say this trip is done but it was a super vacation!! Picture perfect weather except the 2 days we had rain but neither of them interfered with our plans.... did mgm in the rain and rock n r was a walk on.

Started out with a 6 night stay in a pool home.... was supposed to be an executive home and there is no way it was executive.... or maybe I was expecting too much ?!?! We weren't there enough to worry about it though so no sweat! Went to Sea World which we all loved.... fav part was touching and feeding the dolphins..... went to Fort De Soto beach... nice clean white sand beach and the kids found lots of shells and sand dollars... went to Kennedy Space centre and Bush Gardens... enjoyed Kennedy but didn't think Bush was as good as it was 11 yrs ago when we went. The rest of the days we spent shopping and bumming around. I couldn't get over how expensive things were down there compared to up here!! Didn't buy too much!!lol

Then it was off to Wilderness lodge..... I am in love!!lol oh my goodness I just don't have enough words to describe it.... it was beautiful with top notch service and we will definatly be back there!!

1st night was the halloween party..... kids had a super time and lots of the rides were walk on's or very short lines.... it was worth it just for that!!

Went to all 4 parks.... Buzz ride at MK was definatly a fav for us... we rode about 6 times and I got the highest score in the family of 275 600 :teeth: dh was jealous!!lol The lion king at AK and Beauty and the beast at MGM were also enjoyed. Didn't get to hit any of the water parks b/c it took us longer then we expected to get the parks done.

Ate at Wispering Canyon, O'hana's, CRT for dinner, Planet Hollywood and all meals were good.... did Donalds brekie and didn't enjoy that... the character interaction and meal felt too rushed... get em in and get em out fast kind of thing. The ice cream social was good... great character interaction and they came to the table a few times. We also managed to get the princess story book brekie at Epcot for my 4.5yo ds who turned out to be a princess fan.... his fav's were there... Princess Aurora, Mulan, Jasmine, snow white.... I'll have to figure out how to post a pic b/c the excitement on his face is so cute!!

And the best part of the trip I already posted about.... we are now DVC members.... as of June 2005 I will have the points dropped in my account and we are planning on using to try out a cruise/land stay in 2006... October again I think..... or maybe I'll be able to convince dh that we need to go in Dec 2005 and try out the christmas party first since we enjoyed the halloween one so much!!lol We'll probably sit down today and look at the info and try and figure it all out!!

A great trip and now we all can't wait to go back again!!!

Time to start planning again!! :teeth:

Wilderness Lodge is beautiful, my DH's favourite WDW resort! :)

Welcome back, and congrats on your DVC purchase!! :D

So glad you had a great time.

You said the exact same thing about WL as I did last week--I LOVE IT.:earseek:
We stayed in a 2 bedroom villa and now we are planning to go back in Dec. 2005 just to stay there again.
How did you like the rooms. I can't decide on renting more points(or buying my own you lucky girl), or staying in the lodge? Also what did you think of WCC? We did not get to try it on our trip but it sounded like lots of fun.

The rooms were nice... my ds asked at check in if we would be able to see the MK and they gave us a 4th floor room on the MK side.... managed to see alot of wishes through the trees but couldn't actually see the castle. Was a basic room, clean and the mouse keepers left towel animals every day to my boys delight!!

Wispering Canyon was great.... I would definatly recommend it.... we ate there 3 times and the 2nd time with Uncle Dave as our server was definatly the best... my dh got a huge caraffe of coffee and asked what the 'he!!' he was supposed to do with that (asked for a CUP of coffee!!lol) and they put him in Canyon jail and announced to everyone that he had a potty mouth...... the 3rd time we had the maverick as a server and that was fun too. Good food and great entertainment.

The other place we ate that we had fun at was the 50's prime time cafe (had forgotten to add that one) in MGM.

The princess story book breakfast with my 2 boys was the most fun though.... my 10yo was so embarassed that I was taking pics of him at a princess brekie and my almost 5yo ds was in his glory!!

Dh and I have already been talking about the next vacation this morning.... had to take a break so he could finish up some math homework with the 10yo!!

Looks like Oct 2006 will be the next one... looking at 5 nights at the BW, 2 nights at either WL or POFQ and then another 4 nights at SSR which is the one we bought in at!! :teeth:

Welcome back! Sounds like you had a great trip ... I loved doing the rides at MNSSHP! I got to go on rides that I normally wouldn't line up for.

I second that! We loved MNSSHP and BWI-CL was awesome!

Already planning next disney trip-land/sea for March break-will book separately to take advantage of codes! Yippee!!!
Not excited much huh!
