Dan, I've been kinda out of it and didn't know anything about what Marie (and you) are going through. After seeing this thread I did a search and caught up on what's going on. I'm so sorry you both are having to deal with this and sending many prayers your way.

Just awful what happened today. I'm so sorry. The anticipation of going through the test is half the battle and now you have to go through all that again. I'm so sorry and pray for good results when the test is done on Friday.

Oh Dan, what a day you've had. I haven't been able to get on to the computer all day and rushed to the CB to look for your update, only to find 4 pages!! Not surprised to find all these people that care about you and Marie. Thats because you care so much about us .

Dan ,,I just turned on computer, and came right here to see if any word..THIS IS NOT WHAT I WAS HOPING FOR---- so so sorry you have to go through this again,,MARIE is a trooper..I am not sure I could do it again,,,I have only had OPEN MRIs and I don't like them either..I will be thinking of you both on Fri. and remember what I said --MARIE is in GOOOOD hands,,GODS and YOURS!!!!!

It's too bad that since she was already "out of it" that they just couldn't go ahead and repeat the procedure right away, but I know, I know...scheduling.... I think they still should have done her right away, and they could have called the last person on that day's list and just told them that there was a machinery malfunction and would have to re-schedule THEIR MRI, not Marie's, since she was already there.

As always, guys, you are great. Thanks for your good thoughts, wishes, prayers.

Marie woke up for a bit last night, had a bite to eat, and felt pretty decent. She said she will be on the phone today to voice her thoughts (not in any condition to do so yesterday) to both the head of radiology at the hospital and inform her surgeon of what occurred. And the hospital is one of the top hospitals in Chicago, very cutting edge, but sure did not show it yesterday.
