My 12 yr old niece tested last month for her black belt in aikido and missed it by 2 points.

She retested today. THis reminds me. I need to give her a call and see how she did.

I agree with the Coral Reef thing, it stinks!!! Especially with it being their year of celebration promotion, doesn't make any sense to me! .
We never do the Fantasmic package anymore in June for that exact reason you mentioned. If you get to the show 1 hour before it starts you will be fine and no need for the package. It rained on us our first year with the package and we decided never again.
Great purchases! Enjoyed the update.

Thank for your input Lesley! I think we will forgo the package and just eat there and wing it! I am so mad about Coral Reef and I agree about the celebration theme. I bet they will bring it back but now CHARGE for it!

Hi everyone! I hope all of you are making it through this crazy holiday season without too much stress! I thought I was doing really well and then the floodgates opened. Both of the boys have been sick with sinus infections that they just can't seem to get rid of! I have been asked to cover for a teacher for the past 2 weeks which has been great but our house has been left upside down. The boys have so many school activities that the parents must participate in and I still have some shopping to finish! It has been a whirlwind to say the least! I am sure most of you are just as crazed!

On the trip front, I have yet again changed some of our dining! I have very little faith that the dining window will open back up on the December 22nd. The only ADR I can make will be for Chef Mickey's! I will post the updated changes soon! Very good friends of ours are leaving next Saturday the 20th to spend Christmas at Disney at the Boardwalk resort. I helped them plan the whole thing and now I am so sad that we aren't going for Christmas....I would love to go during that time of year Someday I am sure we will! The trip is a surprise for their kids they will wake them in the morning , dress them and then "Santa" is driving them to the airport! Once they get there the kids will get a postcard from Mickey saying " I really want you to come help me celebrate Christmas at Walt Disney World!" Isn't that great!


Funny story! Notice the theme.... On Friday I was a substitute for a Gym teacher. He went on vacation with his family to Disney. There were ALOT of students absent because they were at the Pop Warner championships in Disney. 2 of the games he left me to play with the students were called "Finding Nemo" and "Capture Jack Sparrow" HELLO....I am surrounded by all connections Disney! The funniest thing is, I find out that this Gym teacher a 6'4 260 man is a SUCKER for Disney LOVES it! I guess it really and truly is a place for EVERYONE!!


Lastly, and this has nothing to do with my trip but I am having a HORRIBLE time coming up with an idea for Bryan for Christmas? What are you all getting your spouses/significant others? H..E..L..P!

I know what you mean about house turned upside down. I got food poisoning Monday and did not feel better until Friday and Boy oh boy, my house was awful and only half way done cleaning it now

That disney surprise trip idea sounds great. Hope they have a great time. My friend left yesterday morning for Disney and helped her plan a lot too.

My husband wanted cozy pajamas..so I got him fleece PJ pants and Jersey shirt...all nice and soft. He wanted black socks for work....got those

I am going to get him a book. He got a new cell phone already and that was part of his Christmas gift. That is it..nothing exciting here

Does he have a favorite store? Can you get him a gift certifcate there?

Sorry thing have crazy hectic for you. When school gets out for winter break at least you will finally be able to rest . Hope the boys feel better. So you are going to witch some of your ADR's again?? Too funny about so many people you know going to DIsney ove the holiday season. I wish I was there/going too.

I'm having trouble finding stuff for my DH this year too. We are kind of broke this year so we spent a ton on the kids and agreed to not spend much on each other this year. I ordered him a new Jets Jersey that he reall wants and I bought him Madden NFL game for Wii. We bought a Wii for Christmas but it's for all of us. Mostly them though as I don't have time for video games. Kaylee really wants Rockband 2 which doesn't come out until the end of December . But she has to wait unitl her Bday now since I probably emptied out American Girl .

Hope the boys feel better soon, I sympathise with you, it's been one thing after another here too and with working, the house is falling apart too, take deep breaths and make just do as much as you can from day to day.
I want to go for Christmas some day too. We've discussed the possibility of a New Years getaway for a few nights next year, we'll see : ) Good luck getting everyone healthy and your shopping done, can you believe 10 days til' Christmas!!!

I know, it was like Disney was EVERYWHERE! Too funny about American Girl! Yes, I have to switch around some ADR'S because the Unofficial Guide changed their best days recommendations! I am now sick! Sinus infection and ear infection! The weather here is AWFUL...rain/sleet and you know people in Jersey DO NOT drive slow

Thanks Lesley! I know you have had your fair share of stress lately! How did Tim's surgery go? I hope he is home and recovering! The boys are starting to feel better but now of course I am sick! 9 days dill Christmas but at least that means we are even closer to our June trips!

OOH, Bryan would love Sirius radio! Hey, did you find out where you are moving yet? The boys are starting to feel better but now I am sick and the weather here isn't helping 60 yesterday 40 today with sleet.....

I got the radio for like $25 at Walmart. Then we just have to pay the fee through Sirius. I've had more than one person tell me that you should just go ahead and do the lifetime membership right away to save money in the long run. I'll wait to see if we're going overseas or not (doesn't work overseas).

Speaking of which, no - we don't know where we're going yet. Our request for England and Australia were turned down so we had to start all over. We put in three choices this time around. First is England (another slot opened up), then Whidbey Island, WA - and Japan. The last two are direct support billets which means he'd have to be on a ship for part of the time. The waiting is driving me nuts!! Hopefully we'll know by the start of the year.
