Matthew was the narrator of the story. It was about how Christmas isn't about the commercial things and keeping Christ in Christmas...

It is the Kids Official Guide to Walt Disney World 2009!

OK down to business now! Since we can't make ADR'S, change ADR'S etc., what is a girl to do:rolleyes1 I know.................. TRY AND CHANGE RESORTS:rotfl:

Sooooo, we have officially scrapped the Animal Kingdom Lodge Villas which is our "HOME" and we are now booked for those last 4 nights at.........

BOARDWALK VILLAS!!:cool1: I am so excited! We have always wanted to stay in that area. We will be their for the 4th of July which means no crowds once the 4th fireworks are over:woohoo: I was shocked that it was available! So now we have to revamp our dining...I haven't told Bryan yet but I think this means no Boma....he will be DEVASTATED! He LOVES Boma! Oh well, small price to pay right to stay in the Epcot area! Am I crazy or what?

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU ALL!!!!:cloud9:

Adorable Christmas pictures -- I spy a Santa Pluto in all of that!

You are smart to get each of the boys their own copies of Disney for Kids -- I always make the mistake of getting one copy and expecting mine to share. When will I learn that doesn't work???

Santa brought Disney Dollars, too. :thumbsup2 So, will the Easter Bunny! ;)

I can't believe that you booked Boardwalk -- how awesome is that???

We are having to skip Boma on this trip, too -- we are so sad...unless I scrap Beach Club and stay at AKL instead.

I would love to stay at one of the Epcot resorts one day. There are so many resorts that I want to stay at. I need to get saving so that we can get on this trip.

Hi Diane.
I love all the Christmas pics! Also love the boys new Giants jersey pics. My dad is a huge Giants fan. Of course Tom is a huge Jets fan, but we will route for either team ;) . That stinks about the ADR's, I dread this 90 day window. So you switched to BWV. I love that area too! Have they refurbed the villa's yet? My DF's friend who was also part of our GG stayed at BWV in a 2 bedroom and it was rundown and filthy. She told when we were at MNSSHP. They did complain and they gave her back some of her points and sent naid to at least clean. But I have never heard anyone else have a problem there. My DF stayed there last May in 1 bedroom and she liked it. I think I like the area better than AKLV but I love the decor of the rooms at AKV.

Love all of the Christmas picutres! We didn't get a wii, but we got Rock Band for our PS3 and we've been having a blast playing it. I don't blame Bryan, I'd be thrilled with an afghan like that (well, a Patriots one anyway :lmao: )!

I've heard great things about BWV. Being close to Epcot will be awesome. :thumbsup2 I'd be bummed about missing out on Boma too.

Great Christmas pictures! We've never stayed at an Epcot area resort. Can't wait to hear all about it! How great that you can just walk back to your resort after fireworks.

Love all your christmas Photos. Looks like everyone made out great

How awesome that Matthew got to the narrator, what an honor:goodvibes

Boardwalk looks like so much fun. That will be great being so close to Epcot:thumbsup2

Great update, congrats on Boardwalk Villas! :thumbsup2 Isn't the Wii awesome? Hunter got one for Christmas too and we have had a blast playing it. Cute football stuff - if only it were Carolina Panthers! :rotfl2: Just kidding. The afghan is really nice!

Happy New Year!! :goodvibes

Thanks Jackie! My sister had asked me if she should get them one book to share or 1 each, I couldn't imagine the fighting that would go on if there weren't two!:thumbsup2 The Easter Bunny will definitely bring Disney Dollars too!;) We are beyond excited about staying at Boardwalk!!:goodvibes

I hope you get to stay there someday too! We have to step up our saving too!:goodvibes

Thanks for all the sweet comments Nichole! I hope we get a clean nice room at BWV! The boys are such Giants fans...they freak out just like their daddy! I have mixed feelings about the ADR window. We'll see what happens!:goodvibes

Thanks Carissa! Rock Band is a BLAST, I stink at everything except the microphone:rotfl2: That afghan is so warm, I have taken a liking to it much to Bryan's disapproval!:rolleyes1 We are so excited about BWV!:thumbsup2

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I hope you all had a safe and fun celebration last night! Our friends and their children were suppossed to come over but their daughter got sick so it was just a quiet New Year's here at home! We had fun though. We watched the Travel Channel which had all the Disney specials on and we finalized (for now):rolleyes1 our dining choices! Poor Eric only made it till 11:20 but Matthew, Bryan and I made it to midnight!

Now that we added a Food and Wine trip in November, we will be buying annual passes instead of 10 day hoppers! We realized that will actually save us a BIG chunck of money because in 2010 we will probably be going in April again, so that will be 3 trips on those passes:thumbsup2

Because the park hoours haven't been posted yet I am unsure of whiich days we will be doing these restaurants except the 27th will definitely be the Yachtsman Steakhouse for our 11th Anniversary and the 28th will definitely be the Hoop Dee Doo revue because it will be our day off!

Here is the list, feel free to make suggestions....

BREAKFASTS

Tusker House
Chef Mickey's
Crystal Palace
Ohana
Cape May Cafe

LUNCHES

Happy New Year!!! O.K, what did I miss, you guys are going to Food and Wine now too??? Looks like our countdowns are about the same, are you adults only too? What are your dates??
Can't wait for more!

Your ADR's look great :thumbsup2 . Glad to hear you had a nice New Year's Eve. We fell asleep  , just so tired from the holidays. So your ADR window doesn't open unitl March :confused3 now. How about for Hoop Dee Doo? I'm really working DH over for a trip in May :rolleyes1 but if not then I guess I'll have to settle for October. I really want to stay at BC if we can go deluxe.

Happy New Year to you too! Bryan surprised me for Christmas and took me to Atlantic City overnight on 12/19 and while we were there, he said let's go for Food and Wine:banana: It is on pg. 11 post 161 if you want to read about it! So we booked Nov.4-8 at Kidani. Right now it is a family trip but we are trying to make it adults only!:goodvibes

Thanks Nichole! The ADR window is now permanently 90 days for everything except Grand Gathering Experiences.:headache: Have you thought about renting DVC points for Beach Club:confused3 might be cheaper then paying out of pocket and then you could buy your tickets through Undercover Tourist and save money, just a thought! I hope Tom caves for May!:goodvibes

Don't you just love the flexibility DVC gives you. So are you purchasing your annual passes when you get down there or ahead of time?
