Hi Everyone!! I am so sorry I have been neglectful again! Anyway, I am back! I thought I would share with you what has been keeping me away....

First we took the kids to see Santa so they could give him their lists...

My wonderful husband, gave me an early Christmas present. First of all I have to say that Bryan isn't a big surprise person but he knows I LOVE them. Well, on Thursday he tells me that I will have to pack an overnight bag because the next day, Friday (which was yesterday) he was taking me away!:scared1: I was shocked! Well yesterday morning he told me that we were going to Atlantic City for the night!! I was SO excited! He arranged for a babysitter for the boys, which was awesome!! We stayed at the Tropicana and we had such a wonderful time. There is a big shopping center/restaurant area at the Trop called The Quarter. We didn't gamble much but what we did we lost! Oh well it was only $20. The casino/resort was decorated beautifully, here are some pics...

WOO HOO, so this man surprised me TWICE in one week!! We got home and booked it! So now we will be going on a 2nd trip next year in November for Food and Wine, staying at Kidani Village!!!!

I hope all of you are enjoying the last few days before the Holiday!! I wish you all peace and good health over the coming New Year!!

Wow! Diane! That is great.. I was in AC last weekend for a cheer competition, we stayed at the Sheraton attached to the new convention center. Looks like your stay was much much nicer! Love all the photos and they helped get me in the holiday spirit. I would have loved one of those Lenox figures too! Congrats on your 2nd stay next year.. there really is NO better Christmas present than that!
take care,
Dana

THanks Diane. Glad to hear there is hope.

Santa came to his school and the teacher took the whole class to the assembly room to see him. As soon as Trent realized where they were going, the teacher said he clung to her leg and said he did not want to go

So, him and another child were taken to the library where they put on a puppet show for the librarian:lovestruc

Well, Just wanted to wish you all a

MERRY CHRISTMAS and a HAPPY NEW YEAR

Poor kid!:sad2: How cute that they tried to cheer him up with a show!:goodvibes Merry Christmas to you too!

Well, I was suppossed to be able to make our Chef Mickey's ressie yesterday but, they changed the ADR'S permanently to 90 days! 90 +10 if you are staying onsite! So now we have to wait until March:scared1: Hopefully they will have the park hours for June out before then!:goodvibes

I just wanted to wish all of you a..........

VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HEALTHY AND HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

Wow. So no one can make ADRs more than 90 days out now??? (I'm so behind the Disney news these days.) Why did they do that??

wow, that stinks permantly now 90 days

I thought they were still going to allow 180 for Chef Mickeys, CRT and one other restaurant blanking on:confused3

Guess they changed their mind on that. Bummer

Enjoy your Christmas!!!

Hi diane,
I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and Santa brought everything you guys wanted. So, for the ADR's can't you make your Chef Mickey's ones now, just not everything else? I thought they were keeping those 180 days but changing everything else to 90 days. I hate to say it but I'm kinda fine with the change since I switch things around so much anyway, but it is kinda fun having to call to make those changes, :rotfl: , makes the trip planning that much more fun.
What are you guys doing for New Years? We were supposed to go out of town but with Tim's knee situation we're staying put so now we need to figure out what we're gonna do. Do you have any fun plans?
Lesley

They just made this policy change on 12/23 which was the day that they were suppossed to open the 180 day window back up!:rolleyes1

Thanks Kelly! I hope you had a great holiday too! Yes they did change their policy with CRT, Chef Mickey's and V&A too back to 90 days!

Merry Christmas, Diane! Hope your day is simply wonderful tomorrow!

Thanks Jackie, I hope yours was too!:goodvibes

What a nice husband you have. To take you away from the Christmas crazies!!!

Aww! Thanks so much! He is a keeper!:thumbsup2

Thanks Lesley! We had a GREAT holiday and Santa was very generous! He brought a Wii and we have had so much fun playing! Yes, the 90 day ADR policy is in effect for all ressies now! I am OK with it too, especially because the park hours aren't out yet! Sorry to hear that you had to change your New Years plans:sad2: I hope Tim starts to feel better soon! We are having friends over our house for New Years, should be fun! :goodvibes

Happy New Year, Diane! It sounds like you had a wonderful holiday--what a great surprise! And a trip for Food and Wine? You have absolutely trained him well. :lmao:

Caitlin's home for Christmas so we've been busy, busy! I've seen a lot of movies and been shopping and have been trying to avoid the crazy weather--a foot of snow, ice storms, snow fog, 60 degree weather, thunderstorms and 50 mph wind gusts. :rotfl: It's been a little shocking to Cait in comparison to New Mexico.

Happy Holidays to you and your family, pal!
