Well, I called Your Ride to confirm our reservations

We leave on Saturday, so I'm VERY anxious about them! I called and while the person on the phone wasn't professional and was somewhat rude, they did have all of the information, including a special request I'd made. I did say that this was our first trip and I needed everything to go smoothly and he said, "As long as you get here, it will."

I'll stick with them, but have decided to keep my Passporter with alternate numbers VERY handy, and pay with a credit card. That way, we could always cancel the return trip and go with another company. <sigh> Now I'm just trying to focus on the magic that awaits us! Hopefully that will help me overcome my fear about this service!

I'll report back when we return.
 
We will be waiting for your report!! We have reservations with them for your trip next month -- have used them twice before & have had no problems. Have a GREAT vacations. ºoº ºoº
 
Think about what you are doing. I am sorry, but if they were rude and already making mistakes on your reservation--Why ride with them? I would call another company NOW--Why start your vacation off like that?

where did the OP say they made mistakes? I don't deal well with rude, but, some people are quippy on the phone and that can be thought to be rude. Perhaps they are tired of hearing about the bad press this co. is getting.
 

As for the rudeness, well, there's not excuse and it wasn't professional, but I got to thinking about a transportation service I used in Baltimore this year and thought it couldn't be much worse. After all, that driver had the nerve to call me late in the evening at the hotel and basically say that I ripped him off $3.00. Hello? First of all, it was a business trip, so believe me, $3.00 isn't something I'm too concerned about, and second of all, if I was a "short-change artist" as he called me, why would I only short him $3.00? (The company had a $3.00 coupon on the web, and I suspect he got one and lost it, so when he counted his money that night, he thought it was me. He had no change and I only had larger bills, so we had to do some bill trading.) Needless to say, I got a free ride back to the airport for that phone call.

Besides, they contract out generally, so the person answering the phone isn't necessarily the one we'll get, so I'll just use the card for the protection of being able to charge back and have alternate numbers handy.

Still--I stand by the rest of my post. Rude employees ='s NO business from me.

We have used Your Ride several times in the last 10 months and will be using them in December. We have never had anything put positive experiences. (This includes youngest dd getting sick in the van on the way back to the airport!) The drivers have always been great and couteous. I am a little obsessive and called several while planning my trips to be sure they had everything correct on the reservation. I now have my confirmation saved in my computer for our next trip, but I will still call again right before we leave ( just being obsessive!) I am always polite and joke with them about being obsessive... they seem to be used to people like me! On another note, I believe that if you expect something bad will happen it ususally does. SO I ALWAYS LOOK FOR THE GOOD IN THINGS!!! (I AM VERY SELDOM DISAPPOINTED!)

I decided this morning that there are worse things than a bad limo experience, and we'll get to WDW someway. I'm not going to stress about it anymore, I'm going to find comfort in the fact that we're prepared should something go wrong and leave it at that. We'll be there in 48 hours, so I don't want to ruin the magic!
 
Good way to look at it. While good and bad things are posted, as long as they get you from point a to point b, thats all you really need.
