Tara...sorry to hear about the headache/migraine. I get them for all types of things. They are now under control with allergy shots, clarinex, magnesium oxide and limiting my cycles. I still have the occasional small one, but OTC takes care of those. Good luck to you.

Elaine...my niece sang a solo Sunday and said how nervous she was. For some reason I have no issue being in front of crowds. I have to know the song by heart and have to be able to look at the crowd, can't stand looking at the song book.

Tonight Mandy and Cassie have friends they may come over. I told Mandy to ask if her friend liked pancakes because it is lent and that is what we are having...w/choc chips in them. I will be having a salad or veggies. Lent is tough when you don't eat fish.

Tomorrow we sell GS cookies at Krogers. What fun

Lily...was thinking about Columbus today. Looking forward to getting away. This year I am getting away from the family several times. Love them dearly, but it is nice to be me once in a while and not Mom or Wife.

Sherry...hope the stress is down. I know the girls have been very hyper the last couple weeks. Something is in the air.

Throat has not felt well for the last 3 days. I wish it would quit.

Well, we had heat for a day and a half, at least! Thought it felt a bit chilly again when I got in the shower and then had to keep turning the water up hotter. Just wouldn't stay hot! Just finished drying my hair when we got a knock on the door--not even 8:00 AM, yet!! It was the builder, someone had called him to report water running off our balcony (it's NOT raining). Opened the closet out there to find water spewing out of a broken pipe!! Yes, one of the same ones that got "fixed" the other day. Why they can't do it right, I will never know. Gotta go to work, though. Can't hang around and laugh at 'em.

Amanda, sorry to hear your throat is bothering you but glad you are able to control your headaches. I don't envy anyone with migraines! Love pancakes (or even waffles) for dinner!

Tara, hope you can get to the doc and get something for your head. Maybe ya just need a firm manly voice to order Jack to take a hike!

Laine, I like the wrapped up in a blanket idea. I did that last weekend and it felt soooooooo good! Boo-hiss on allergy season, I'm right there with ya.

I feel for ya, Sherry! Don't know how calm and serene I could be with 4 boys in the house, either. Hope you can find some time to relax and de-stress.

Lots of prayers for the family, Alan, it can't be easy for Rebecca's grandmother! Hope she heals quickly and easily. Hope the mystery fever in the house abates soon, too!

Just got Dave off on a business trip, so things will slow down now.
Spent yesterday doing laundry and getting him packed.
He starts in Orlando...and that is why he is leaving tonight. He gets to play at WDW tomorrow and Sunday!!

Glad it is Friday, I think I need it. I must shake up my mental-ness to be better able to face my days ahead. I think the weekend will give me time to do so. I really think I want to plan a get-away and can't find a way to afford to do so. Oh well, it's not like I don't have several plans for the year already. I just want to jet set and afford it.

I'm hoping to get the dipping set, the square salad plates, the ice cream bowls, the relish tray, uh... actually everything, Elaine. Only thing I don't think I'll bother with are the canisters. I don't like to have things setting out on my counters, so they won't be of much use to me.

Tara, are you getting horrendous sharp stabbing pains on one side? I've had three or four absolute killer migraines where I wind up on the floor, unable to walk, think, see... anything. But fairly regularly, I'll get these nasty sharp stabbing pains, always on the right side, kind've behind the eye. I'd never thought of those as a migraine until I talked to a neurologist. She said they were. Ugh!! Nasty suckers!!

Hi y'all! Ran errands this morning and sale loving me found $250 worth of bedding for $70... guess what I brought home Very soft Egyptian Cotton too! Cats seem to like it a lot

Amanda, I forgot you don't eat meat on Fridays. I have the same issue here too. Cannot stand fish! so we are having pizza tonight. Luis doesn't like "breakfast for dinner" as he puts it.
Oh and I am the total opposite of you! If I see the crowd that makes it worse for me. I've even sung w/o contacts so I don't have to see faces

Kimmie I understand on the canister thing. I don't use them though because they aren't airtight usually. I keep flour & sugar in mine. Of course I also have a HUGE chopping block and my mixer on my counter as well as my knife set. So I am used to things on mine. I didn't see the square plates though... I'll have to look!

Well, I'm not always very successful at keeping things off the counter, but I try. The kitchen remodeling will hopefully help with this a little bit. The microwave is now above the range, the coffee maker will be hidden behind an "appliance garage" and the toaster oven was replaced by the small second oven on the stove.

Still trying to get the bills paid. Didn't I say this yesterday? What happened to that stinking bill paying fairy!?!

LOL, Paula, there is a joke that I think is somewhat true... I am a bargain shopper. I like good deals. Today they were found at Target. I also found another sheet set there that is comfy feeling.

Kimmie, have fun shopping for more!! I am so glad they are living up to your expectations!!! Smart moves with the kitchen. I admit we have a few things out but I don't mind. The counter space they are on is now for that! I have one counter that only has my sugar & flour... and I started doing that because I use it so much in cooking I got tired of digging it out and putting it back

Rebecca's grandmother had to spend the night at the hospital last night. Her blood count was very low and they had to give her two units.

Rebecca sat with her until 11PM when her mother took over and then she went back this morning before I went to work this morning.

It looks like everything is set up and she is transferring today to the nursing home where Rebecca's mother works.
