Bethie, very much the same weather. We had a wee bit of sunshine but it disappeared quickly. No rain though... not quite as warm here either, but that has more to do with the winds and the front moving through.
I hope you are feeling better soon... virus or otherwise

Lily, I agree... yuck on this time of the year. We've already had more tornado watches than I'd like to count. Oh I got some stuff done today, and I think I am combatting the mold in the tub issue we've had. Hopefully the Clorox pen will work so I don't have to get the full strength stuff out.

Boys are off school tomorrow, I am not supposed to have to babysit, and I don't have to take Junior to work, so I am sleeping in tomorrow!!

We had a lot of thunder and lightening last night. Lots of wind, but very very little rain. I guess I don't mind since we didn't really need the rain at this point.

Woke up with a sore throat though... might go back to sleep to see if that helps, though I think it is allergy related.

We lost our electricity for a couple hours this morning!! The boys were freaking out cuz they were in the middle of video games.

I've been kind of out of it today. A bit loopy... I think the throat is hurting less now, however I am running a fever... not as high as I've ever had it before, but it is to 99.0 (up from my normal 97.1). This is not what I needed right before Easter weekend

Lily, I hope you have some of that sunshine when you leave today!!!!

Yuck on losing elecricity for a few hours... though i admit I hate losing it more during the evening hours. Harder to do anything w/o sunlight.

I think I am going to get in the shower. I am supposed to go to church tonight... yeah I know fever people need to stay home, but I can tell you right now it's a sinus thing more than anything else. I just wish I weren't so drugged up with allergy stuff

Okay, would y'all feel better (as in come out and post) if I said my fever broke during our 1.5+ hour long service? I was up to 99.3 and when I came home and checked it was down to 97.3. So I'm happy... usually if I can get good decongestants in me, these things go quickly.

But Luis told me I need to go to bed... so I am

I'm home. Just got back a few minutes ago. Had a busy night, but it was fun. The running store where I get my shoes had Diva night and offered sales on ladies things along with anything in the store. The group I play with on the weekends was there so I made it a point to stop by to model my bling from January. They helped me get it.

Elaine, glad it broke for ya. Hope it is all better tomorrow. You need to be healthy for the big weekend.

Sherry, sorry about the electricity thing. I was amused about their misery over not being able to play video games. I would be miserable b/c I couldn't play DIS.

We seem to be majorly quiet lately.

Howdy, all!

Been busy tying up loose ends at TDS and have gotten rolling on my stuff at the new job. I have my wonderful Suzanne@greatnewjob and the store specific email, then I'm emailing back and forth with my boss daily about all sorts of stuff. I am so very happy to use technology and have bosses that embrace it!

Looks like telling mom has no impact on Kimmar's behavior! Stop shouting, they can hear ya in China, girlfriend!

So, Tiara's on a trip and won't be around, Lainey's got Easter vigil, Todd, Amanda and AA have left the pc's behind and the rest of us are really busy with work or preparing for the holiday. sound about right?

Lily, so cool that you got to show off that bling? How many pairs of those comfy shoes do you wear out in a year, anyway?

Lainey, hope you can rest before tomorrow's services! My friend Joyce got light duty this year-usually sings (cantor) at four churches on Good Friday and six masses on Sunday. This year, she's got two on Friday and three on Sunday.

TLC's got these life lessons promos and they just had one "merlot and emails don't mix" How about Austlese, does that mix with email?

So, for the past six years, I've been the techie chick at work. I call our help desk when there's a problem and tell them everything I've already done and what they MUST do. I've had that rep with my coworkers. Welll, my boss at TDS just got personal assistance-we were AIMing back and forth to get her W2 to come up. I've been warned that I'll be called to help!

Tomorrow's the last day-and I get out early, too. I thought I'd be a basket case at this point, but I'm fine. I just need to dig out my pretty paper to write my goodbye letter to my cast!

I'll have more time this weekend to play with my friends here, yippee!

Hi y'all! I spoke too soon and I only have a slight fever now (about a degree above my normal but still lower than the average) so it isn't too bad and it could be related tos omething else. I feel okay, but hopefully the voice will last!

Lily, I am glad you had so much fun out and about last night! I noticed we were quiet too, but I'm not sure if that is because the boards have been awful, if people are too busy this week or something else. I know I haven't seen Paula here in a while and Nancy seems to be far too infrequently stopping in. Who knows.
As for your job, good luck! I hope something good changes soon

I know I won't be around much for the next few days though. Luis is home today so we just lazed around while watching TV enjoying this day off together.

Suzanne, I couldn't imagine doing that many services at that many churches! Mostly because most of ours are all at the same time. I just have tonight, tomorrow and Sunday left to do. We only have two services on Sunday and since I never do noon, I won't be expected there.

I'm not talking much today though, but I tried to sing earlier... not sounding good. So I'll be drinking lots of water today and hope it improves by tonight.
