Ugh, back to reality this morning. I would so rather be in bed. I only got about 4 hours sleep.

Amanda, boo on having to work late. Glad you got some time to relax last night.

Tara, yay for kahlua and milk. Will check out your thread once the boys are off to school.

Kristy, boo on having to work this weekend. I'm feeling alot better this morning. Julian is, too.

Morning all! Got laundry done and errands run this weekend, but that's about it. Very little motivation, I'm afraid. Keep looking at the Christmas tree and thinking about taking it down, but that's as far as either of us get. Gotta get to it this week!

Sherry, so sorry you are still dealing with that cold. Sounds like you've turned the corner now, though. I'm with ya on the UGH, back to reality.

Tara After that scare I think I might have drunk the Kaluha straight!! I know that feeling all too well--when you finally see them you aren't sure if you're going to throw up or wet your pants, right?! Then you arent' sure if you're going to hug 'em to death or beat the living daylights out of 'em!!

Sorry your day wasn't as restful as you'd hoped yesterday, Amanda. And phooey on an all-day meeting! Maybe, they'll talk fast and it will end early?!

Kristy, be careful that bringing work home doesn't become a habit or the boss will start to expect it. One of the things I dislike about being salaried--some bosses think they own your every hour!

Say, Pam! Ya'll aren't Steelers fans, are ya?! LOVED your card!! Sorry the kids are back to school, but at least you;ll have a little more time to yourself.

Well, January thaw has hit and we are expecting temps near 70 today. Not ready for that--I haven't had my winter snow yet!!! Gotta jet, traffic wants me to come out and play

Beth...it was very hard NOT to drink the whole thing!

All is well today however. He woke up and didn't mention it, so I'm going to assume he is not permanently traumatized! hehehe

It's a nice quiet monday. The kids are taking a huge test and being the kind teacher that I am, I'm letting them use their notes! So hopefully, some of them can pass the test! I'd like to see lots of them pass it!

I have tutoring and bowling tonight so it will be a long day,

Oh and to all of you OSU fans...Good luck today! I have a friend here that is an OSU fan too and I've been harassing him about the game. He is so into the thing that I told him I bet if two gorgeous woman threw themselves at him tongiht while the game is on he would take the game over them. He hemmed and hawed...and then agreed...it would be difficult...but the game would win out over win!! So i'm assuming this is an important game!

Good Morning all! doing much better even though it's a full work week. Yuck!
Thank you all for the hugs and Pam that was so sweet of you to offer if there was anything you could do. I think for some reason I just get that way at the beginning of every year. Instead of looking at it positively I look back at too much of the negative. Better now.
I got out in the yard and did a bit of clean up. Took the outside decorations down but, still have the inside to do.
sorry to any steelers fans but, I was really about the Jags win. Look out Patriots.
Tara - That was a really scarey thing, thinking you lost a kid. I lost Cameron at Universal one time and almost had a full panic attack.
Ok, my mind went completely blank so I better get to work.

Hi y'all! Need to get a shower and get ready. I am taking Dom to the doc at 1PM. Hopefully we can figure something out to help him a little. I'm a pushy mom who doesn't believe that there isn't some cause for his painful cries.

We have the game tonight, and some family/friends are coming over, so I have to help get the house ready. I'll try to check in later.

Okay, who am I trying to kid? The wildest thing I did was stay up late playing cards with friends Friday night. It was a nice and relaxing weekend.

I hope things are going well for Paula in the new position today.

Pam, did the kids get back to higher learning okay? Abigail and Lela both started their classes back today.

Tara, that's one heck of a 3AM wake up call, but I guess after your scare the next day, you didn't mind quite so much. I'm glad all is good.

Elaine...be a pushy mom! That's the way to be when it comes to your baby!! Make the ped listen to you! And if they don't...find another one! That is one thing I can say for my ped, she has always listened very intently to what I had to say and has NEVER made me feel like i'm being silly or ridiculous. I hope they gave you some help today for poor little Dom!

RM...I'll be in the World March 21 to March 30. Easter week! Counting down the days again! woohoo!!!

No real time to post here... family will be here soon

We did go to the doc today and she listened. She agreed that we tried quite a lot and with his reflux starting as early as 1 hour after feeding, that there isn't much more we can do. So she gave us Zantac. Granted he will probably outgrow some of his reflux, but this will help hopefully the times he screams after burping or spitting up. He'll have an appt in a month for his regular shots so we'll be back for that then but she said if it doesn't improve or gets way worse to call her. Dom doesn't like the Zantac much taste wise, but he took it well enough.

Speaking of cuties, he is all dressed up and ready to go for the game tonight

Hey Elaine...glad she gave him something for it! Ethan never objected to the taste of the stuff and even now he loves food with lots of flavor and never objects to anything with strong flavors. I'll tell you what though, it made sucha huge difference in his eating and spitting (not to mention the amount of laundry that we went through!)

Off to bowling in a bit! Ya'll have fun without me! I'll pop back in tonight to bump us up!! I know everyone will be watchign the game so I'll do my part.

Tara, I can be a pushy mom if need be for sure I'm not a hover type, but a kid in pain is not something I will tolerate. I am lucky my doc is a mom as well as a doc and I know that makes her a bit more sensitive. She definitely listened to everything I said. It also helped that a nurse friend was suggesting the same thing you did

Going to help Luis burp Dom... halftime is almost over but I am not confident at all.

Just a quick check in - miserable cold lasted all weekend but is better today - I survived my first day at the office - can't wait to really settle in - they just put me at a spare desk for now - I'llbe working alot of hours this month - which will probably helt to pay off some christmas debt and give me cruise spending money.

Too tired to ketchup so I'll give hugs all around and say goodnite....

I dislike meeting that are suppose to end with some type of resolution, but don't. We are no better off from when we started. Oh well...guess I have more meetings to look forward to. Atleast tomorrow I work from home
